Possibly leaked BotCon toys?

A couple of bagged redecos have shown up on ebay (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/conventions-15/botcon-2014-souvenirs-possibly-revealed-flamewar-prid-transmutate-180219/), and they are bagged for FunPub (most of their toys end up saying "BotCon" on the bag, not just BotCon toys).

One is a black redeco of the Beast Hunters version of Arcee, called Flamewar. (a character originally created by FunPub for their first BotCon, so could be a tribute to that, like G2 Breakdown is a tribute character to the first BotCon)

The other bagged figure is Transmutate, but apparently uses the TFPrime Arcee mould that *wasn't* use for this year's store exclusive.
(I can't seem to tell them apart in photos... but apparently the 2011 First Edition Arcee is the one that got released, but for some reason, some of the Transmutates have been showing up on the 2012 "RID" Arcee mould.
It's possible that both moulds were used for a test run to see which worked best, but I think the ebay seller has put the discarded 2012 toy in an old bag, as it says BotCon 2013 on it.

It seems a bit late that BotCon toys would be leaking now from the Factory, as they were sent 1-2 months ago... but we might see some more odd redecos showing up in the next week or two.

(this was also the seller who was selling the brown FOC Rumble/Frenzy figure a few months back as well, which could still be a BotCon toy)

Yeah, not convinced, we've seen pictures of other toys in Botcon bags this year that appeared to be legit but turned out to be a custom in a old bag.

There is no reason for the club to produce a second transmutate, it would cut into the sales of the first one.

The flamewar looks cool, but again, unlikely that they'd have two such similar molds, if the flamewar was made using the FE Arcee I'd be a lot more convinced.

I guess I'll just have to go to Botcon and find out for myself.

I'd be very excited to see a Flamewar release. She's just been featured in the TF Legends game, along with other previous OTFCC figures like Shadowstriker.

That's interesting - I guess that would make the bagged sets:

Flareup and Apelinq.
Shokaract and Alpha Trion.
Pounce and Wingspan.

This year FunPub spoiled our fun of learning the names on Wednesday by not listing them in the Program Guide's FAQ.
In the past it would list the different sets and how many of each they have made, but this year it says...
Knights 3-pack - 1,750 units
Pirates 2-pack - 1,550 units
Clone 2-pack - 2,000 units
Kreon BotCon Annivesary 6-pack - 1,500 units

Oh hey, I thought they wouldn't do a Kre-O set again this year, I have to get that. Hopefully it's as a easy to get my hands on it as last years was, similar quantities iirc so it should be.

Some sources say Sixshot is Brimstone (i.e. presumably the Cybertron form of Cybertron Brimstone rather than Energon Six Shot.)
