Hi All

Im thinking of buying one of these. any one here has one who could share their point of view regarding this? ie: how good, issues, etc...

I got this when it first came out. Did not know what to expect. Its awesome to say the least

You will be glad you did. Personally I think it is an amazing figure, especially love the third "hidden" rocket and base mode. It looks fantastic with the lights it comes with too.

I've got it displayed amongst my Generations/Classics figures, along side third party Hercules (Devastator) and he just fits. But he also fits well with the WfC/FoC figures.

Definitely can't talk highly enough of this figure, ratchet joints are also nice and strong. Hope he arrives for you soon mate, he's VERY impressive.

Might I ask, how much you paid? I would love to get a Genesis myself, but I just can't bring myself to pay the $400+ price tag.

So Far the cheapest i've seen is at Robotkingdom as what Cbatron suggested below......


Robotkingdom.com has Genesis for US$309 + shipping.

Its an ok price I guess for such a BIG bulky thing... (I assume at the moment as I haven't got it yet...)

My Fortess Maximus was $300AU when i bought it. Fort Max is wicked but honestly he's very boxy.... with no colors he looks like small boxes glued together :)
MY TFC Hercules with ROH was $500AU (TFC Hercules is cool!:cool:) so PlanetX for $400AU (i think) is a bargain for this BIG Beauty!

My wife thinks im crazy spending that much on Planet X Genesis but she is supportive and approves of my hobby/collection so had to order before she changes her mind :D

I would have bought it if I had anywhere to put it. Looks nice and is stupidly accurate to the WFC game.

hmm... I'm keen... my order never arrived. thank god for Paypal disputes!

i don't like pre-ordering these days as they get cancelled and then frustration kicks in..... :(

if this item ever becomes "IN-STOCK" "Ready to Ship Next day delivery" somewhere then I'll buy it.

It says in the description that it doesn't come with a head tank. I'm unsure as to what that is, could someone please clarify on this?

Would hate to buy it only for it to turn up without a head.

Would hate to buy it only for it to turn up without a head.Head tank is an extra head planet x made to satisfy those that wanted a G1 styled head. Aka like the G1 omega head tank is a tank that can become the head for planet x Genesis.
However this is an extra item meant to compliment or replace Genesis' existing head.

Cheers, now the hard part do I get one or wait and hope Hasbro/taktom make another one.

Well Genesis was based on the War for Cybertron aesthetic. I have my doubts of any more official WfC toys. However, after last year's fan poll, I do expect for there to be a Titans Return version. And if you really, really can't wait, there was the Year of the Snake version you could track down.

Yeah sorry should of been more specific I meant a more g1 aesthetic omega from hasbro/Taktom.

I also have a gut feeling he might be in the Titans return line but with a Titan class trypticon next year I'm not getting my hopes up.

I would wait, as much as I was WOWed by this figure, I was surprised by the no face finish, that was a bit lazy imo.
