Transformers music on the Olympics coverage

Seven's currently playing music from the Transformers movie score as I type this. Earlier I also heard them playing "What I've Done." Whoa!

I hadn't noticed it myself but Trunks did in the Olympics Thread:


Opals played well, but the refs were really picking on Lauren Jackson, 2 of her 4 fouls were only given because she is a superstar, they were as soft as marshmallows.

Has anyone else noticed that the intro/outro music that Channel 7 is using sounds very similar to music from the Transformers Score, A combination of Arrival to Earth and something from a later section...

Ch 7 borrowing TF music for the Olympics? Who knew... :)

crap now im going to actualy have to watch channel 7 to hear this for myself now.

They don't use it on the big into-outros at 11am 6pm and 7pm, but they do use it when they do their (extremely numerous) switches from "live" coverage to replays of the swimming, or when changing hosts.

Although I'm glad it wasn't just me hearing things though!
