I have noticed Kmart is pretty good with their PS3 Game prices compared to the likes of BigW, JB, EB etc. $44 for ROTDS!:)

Regular Hero Mashers are $19.
I didn't realise Dark spark was out so soon, guess it makes sense with the movie being out this month though.

It seems odd that they are only discounting PS3 games. There are almost as many 360's in Australia as PS3's (1 mil 360's vs 1.2 mil PS3's). If you want to bring people into a store for a sale excluding almost 50% of the 7th Gen console audience is stupid.
Also the person taking pictures for the catalogue mistransformed RB Optimus. How stupid do you have to be to mistransform a toy for 3 year olds.

It states 'also available in Xbox 360'. ;)

People getting huffy based on consoles??? No way!
You've just got to hope now that they get the game in stock, most of the stores near me have awful range in their games, no matter the console.

I'd suggest they did that deliberately as there isn't a picture of the robot mode in the catalogue.

Is that what the tiny writing under the games says? Really, it is too small to read on a high res display.:o

so I'll be getting Leader Class Optimus from K-mart then, it saves me a trip and five bucks compared to Big W. (I still want that 66 Batmobile and retro Turtles though...)

Knowing Kmart, they don't usually get their new items stock on the shelf til a week after everyone else. Im hoping JB and BigW will price match.;)

Big W and EB Games both have a price match policy but it must be the current price so I doubt you will get the Kmart price till tomorrow. I don't buy games from JB HiFi routinely so I don't know what their policy is.

Hmmm...
There seems to be a typo on the PS3 games prices. I'm looking at the catalog we got in the mail today, and it says $59 not $44 like online states. Odd

According to the games department at my nearest kmart the online price is different to the in-store price, so if you want the game for $44 buy it online from kmart or use the online catalogue at a store that price-matches.

Lucky you. EB policy is if you price match you loose any preorder bonus. Also they don't match online only prices. Guess someone didn't read the employee manual.:p
Big W's price match policy does allow price matching to online prices of the competition as long as they have a store in the same area/town. So if you can't get the $44 at a Kmart or a strict EB Games try a near by Big W.

I went with a friend to kmart to try and see if they had a 'price protection' policy to try and get $20 back for the set of 5. The customer service counter said that you had to bring them back in original packaging, refund them and then pick up another set from the shelf. Something about double handling meant that they couldn't refund the same set and then sell back to you for the discounted price. Very frustrating...

I'm tempted to buy Impactor (because he's Impactor and I met him in my very first TF comic all those years ago) but it's not a great toy is it?

Double handling? What a load of crap. You could've bought them at another register.
The 5 that you returned would've just ended up back on the shelf for sale within the hour anyway. It's not like refunded items get locked away in isolation for a week

Tried to get the 20 bucks back.
Yeah, you can't.
Even if you purchase similar deluxe series figures to refund, they have to be the exact same ones as the receipt shows the bar code number.
They ain't silly no more :(
Got 3 out of 5 back... better than nothing I guess.

After I had been in store and could not find the game I rang back later to see if it was actually in stock SOMEWHERE in store :)
Got the call back from audio visual dept saying it was in the back of store and was $59. Got one put on hold and then picked it up later from lay-by...for $44
Weird ;)

Well after watching the movie again I was all jazzed to purchase some transformer goodness... I was going to cave and buy a 'Crosshairs' which I previously did not want due to, what I considered, to be a mold of horrendous "shellformer" proportions... the movie however for the first time imbued the transformers with recognisable character that made them ingratiate themselves to me. I had previously seen the 'Wreckers' at Kmart, and while I liked them I did not want to purchase them for $29ea, I also thought that after the weekend they would be gone. I headed to the toy section Crosshairs in mind and to my surprise the 'Wreckers' were still all there. Having learned they were $15 dollars from this most excellent Transformers discussion board I eagerly snapped them up, all thoughts of 'Crosshairs' gone from my mind.
Endorphins released, happiness achieved.

Are Top Spin and Twin Twist good quality? I have regular retail Brawl, as well as Platinum Brawl and Blast Off, which could be better. They're appealing to me, especially in the facesculpts and weapons.

Hey Bidoofdude. They suffer from small arm syndrome (as I'm sure you are aware). Twintwist's feet are quite loose but I seem to be able to keep him standing and I love Topspin in white. As you said the head sculpts and weapons are awesome. The large size of the weapons do make for difficult posing... I do love them though as I also loved the original Bruticus molds and for $15ea dollars who could resist!

I only realised while at Kmart the other day that the 16 inch Titans ($15) were cheaper than the 12 inch Titans ($19)... and cheaper than the American price of 16 inch Titans - US$20 (which I paid, plus postage, expecting them to be $40 here).
It's always a gamble if you jump on things when they first come out in case they sell out, or to save on shipping by adding them to an order of other items... but it certainly sucks when they end up being half what it costs importing them, especially when they aren't priority items).

Hey Griffin. Does your U.S 16 inch Titan have electronic gimmick with a button on the Autobot logo on his chest? And a sword?
I picked up a $15 16 inch today at Kmart to customise and it doesn't have any sword or sounds. Looks like Australia got the poverty pack version. :(
