There are currently three Transformers Rides (in order of opening date - Singapore, California, Florida) and the newest of the three has had a "technical glitch" stranding 12 people for about an half an hour (http://www.clickorlando.com/news/fire-officials-making-technical-rescue-on-transformers-ride-at-universal-studios/26962018) because it jammed in one of the worst spots.
A shame to hear that it had a fault, but at least it wasn't one of the more dangerous rides, so fortunately wasn't likely to kill anyone over a glitch.

Interesting, I don't remember there being any elevators in the ride at LA?
I thought they were carbon copies of each other?

They are identical. There are some points where you are dropped and raised, when you are facing off certain characters or being chased... but your senses are being distracted by what is happening on the 3D screens.
If you play it back in your mind, recall what the car was doing during each 3D scene and what forces you felt on your body.

Phew! Glad that didn't happen to me here in LA!!! Went to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Monday and they recently had a derailment on the Ninja roller coaster, suffice to say that roller coaster was out of action.

That's something I don't want to experience! ever.
