Just wondering......
Is anyone buying/bought the supreme roll out Prime? Is he good?

I said No, but I'm sure I will be tempted... Haven't seen him yet though

Moving this query to its own topic.
I don't think it has been released here yet, and only a few of us have either imported it or played with it at a Toyfair/Convention.
Perhaps until it is released, comments from those who have already played with it or got it. Or if you plan to get it or avoid it, say why.
I have it (not got it out of the box yet), and played with it at the AUS Toyfair - with my limited amount of exposure to it so far, I think it is a gimick-heavy toy that is way out of scale with every other Animated toy, and I don't think it will appeal to the more selective collectors here who don't plan to get everything. It will be expensive here, but I think is squarely aimed at the younger kids, who are spoilt by their parents.
When I get mine out of its box, I might comment further.

I think it's more of a thing to leave for kids to get, since it's so gimmick-heavy. At least the Animated styling doesn't force the electronics into one huge block *coughUltimateBumblebeecough*.

The reviews paint it as being a piece of sh#t...
My worthless 2 cents :o, Don't buy it... :)

I'll get him, so my Ultimate Bumblebee won't feel so lonely... :p

Yeah, it's not really recommended, even if it were priced here at the US$ equivalent.
Had a little play and transform of it, and it has a simpler transformation to every other Animated Optimus (well, except the Bumper Battler), with the limbs and legs.
It only appears to have 3 sound bits/quotes, but the nice thing is that the face plate moves when he talks.

It's a good size to pose next to something like a Masterpiece Prime or an Omega Prime.
Limited articulation in the arms prevents a lot of action poses but at least the legs have some pretty good articulation.
Probably one thats going to be like ultimate bumblebee, either love it or hate it.
I personally thought that the rolling transformation was pretty cool.

Maybe Hasbro is hoping that Supreme Prime is gonna be the No. 1 TF on the '08 Christmas Present Wishlist?

well..when it's near Christmas and these Supreme Primes are on the shelves...we'll know that it's meant for that purpose, don't we!

Pics of anything in particular? Because there are already pics out there on the net (convention displays, AUS Toyfair, and online stores like Robotkingdom).
There wasn't anything I saw as being interesting enough to take a photo of, that hasn't already been seen on the net.
But if there was something in particular you were after a photo of, I can see to it.

I will avoid it. I think the plain matt colours and lack of detailing on the mold of the animated line would fail to provide interest (and therefore justifiaction) for Prime to be such a large figure.
Plus, the charcter himself isn't that large(I know that they aren't in scale *cough*voyager Bulkhead*cough*, but I like to try and keep some perspective), so I am happy with my voyager sized one.
Omega Supreme as a supreme sized figure? HELL YES! Prime? No.
