Preview clip for RID-2015

It only goes for 74 seconds and has no dialogue or sound effects, but we get our first look at next year's new Transformers cartoon and some of the characters we will soon be knowing well.
This was being shown at SDCC, so to counter the really bad youtube copies, Hasbro have posted the video on their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=683133768423487).

Why? I only seen a little bit but nothing to cause anger. Animated was probably more anger inducing when first announced as that initial art of Optimus they showed looked a lot worse than he ever did in the real cartoon.

it doesn't have any of the charm of 2d Animated and none of the coolness of 3d Prime.

Maybe I need to rewatch the clip with sound, but I didn't there's an actual "ghost of Optimus Prime". Rather Bumblebee saw a statue and then imagined that reflection of Prime talking to him.

I think it will be in the second season. A 2 or 3 part episode arc.

Hasbro have already hinted that some fan favourites will be back in season 2

Finally saw the clip. Yeah, animation is a bit cheap and there is always the fear that the kid will be focused upon instead of the TFs but nevertheless, I did not see anything to say the show is crap..

...at least not yet ;)

I like the fact that Strongarm is female but has a stocky build. Is underbite the dinobot mentioned in the original press release?

It has a Cartoon Network feel to it with the minimalist lines and art style.

Suits the bots alright enough but the human kid looked off in most of the close ups, seems to be something amiss in his chin are of the model.

Transformation was loooong, hopefully it'll be used sparingly and not as episode filler like in Cybertron!

I will probably watch the whole thing anyway but I'm feeling this will compare unfavorably against Prime.

I don't mind the animation style actually. It looks like what a lot of kids cartoons are going for these days.

I did notice that the Autobots didn't fire a single shot in that clip. Maybe it'll be more like Animated in that regard?

I'll save judgement until I start watching it.

I think they need to find all the frames they dropped lol... I guess the attitude any TF fan needs to have is that just because a new series is coming out, doesn't mean we lose the series/episodes we've already got.

A little long, but I figured this was one of those "first transformation show-off" scenes that often run longer. TF Animated had some of those too.

It doesn't look too bad. The animation looks a bit unfinished, so it could get better. I just don't like the lack of detail. The toys look fantastic though, I actually really want that "warrior-class" (which I presume is the new, slightly smaller than deluxe size excuse) Bumblebee. :)
