I've been wondering how many movie-verse figures there are that either are blantantly based on their G1 counterparts (Guzzle) or have g1 themed decos (Cannon Force Ironhide) or even better are in some way a mix of g1 and movie-verse (Evasion Mode Optimus Prime)
so I'd like to know what figures you guys know of that look somewhat G1-ish from the various movie toylines :)

On top of the few you mentioned I can think of:

ROTF: Dirge
ROTF: Mindwipe
ROTF: Bludgeon
ROTF: Ravage
DOTM: Rodimus
DOTM: Laserbeak
DOTM: Powerglide
DOTM HA: Whirl (a mixture of both worlds)
AOE: Various Dinobots
AOE: Hound was at least a green coloured army vehicle
AOE: Galvatron was a grey reincarnated Megatron

Repaints
Various Cliffjumpers
Various Thundercrackers, Skywarps & Ramjets
Pretty sure there were a G1 coloured Starscream & Ratchet (not the HFTD one)

Theres that red G1 inspired deco of DOTM Leader Ironhide. I forget what line he was from.

And I spose if ya wanna stretch it and go with just what their alt-mode was from onscreen characters:

*Sideswipe was a sports car
*Skids was a mini-van/hatchback
*Optimus was a truck
*Bumblebee was a car
*Ratchet was an ambulance
*Starscream was a jet
*Hound was an army vehicle
*Brawl was a tank
*Mixmaster was a cement mixer
*Jetfire was a jet
*Long Haul was a dump truck
*Scavenger was a digger
*Scrapper was a construction vehicle
*Slug/Slag was an outer-space dinosaur
*Grimlock was an outer-space dinosaur

Oh, and ad to the list I did in post 2 - DOTM HA: Drag Strip - definetly G1 inspired :)

There's a number of counter-examples, too, such as Bumblebee becoming a Camaro-styled car in IDW G1 after the movies, or Optimus' design in Prime.

ROTF Breakdown for sure
Autobot Alliance Seaspray too

ROTF Beachcomber, Dead End and Nightbeat too but a bit fuzzier (as just repaints of other toys)

Same goes for Classics toys sold in Movie packaging: Breakaway, Crankcase. Big Daddy too.

that $50 jazz deluxe repaint from the first movie

They had repainted Jazz and Starscream from the first movie in G1 style colors, I think Starscream in G1 colors was a Target exclusive or something, I have Jazz in G1 coloring and skipped on the original Silver/gray release coz I thought it was too plain. Then there's also this thread...which you can prolly say which ones look like their G1 counterpart and which ones went away from the original namesakes...we haven't updated that thread actually.... I didn't get much if any from the latest movie so I won't be able to add much to it :p:D

Oh neat, so there actually is quite a few.
I was just fiddling with evasion Op the other day and it made me wonder if a shelf of Movie styled G1 characters (or vice versa) was possible.

adding answers to my own question there is also that G1-ish AOE/DOTM Wheeljack that came out recently with the matrix for a head.
Arguably Movie 1 Wreckage could almost pass for a G1-Movie hybrid megatron too

Hoist (ROTF I think) was pretty similar too. He came in a 2 pack with Mixmaster (already mentioned).

Here's a few more:
Skywarp, Ramjet & Thundercracker to match the G1 paint for the first movie Starscream & Thrust along with Dirge from another movie line that i'm too tired to remember :p

Other movie TFs w/ G1 colours:
+ Optimus Prime
+ Bumblebee
+ Megatron
+ Galvatron (the G1 toy, books & comics are grey, only the G1 cartoon model was purple)
+ Arcee
+ Chromia
+ The Fallen
+ Shockwave
+ Laserbeak
+ Top Spin
+ Ravage (especially the Deluxe Class toy)
+ Long Haul
+ Recon Frenzy (http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/d/d8/Mov2007-toy_ReconFrenzy.JPG)

And arguably...
+ Blackout (although needs more blue to be more like G1)
+ Lockdown -- mostly black w/ silver highlights, but needs more green (although he does have green eyes)
+ Sentinel Prime in DotM trailers. The final film (and subsequent toys and merchandising) deviated from this and became red, but in the trailers Sentinel Prime was more orangey-yellow, which is closer to the colours of G1 Sentinel Prime.
+ Insecticon -- the greens being reminiscent of the BW Predacon who originally used this personal name (and not as a sub faction name).

Also, regular Movie Ironhide's colours are reminiscent of G1 Ironhide's Diaclone colours (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/members/shakira-70141-albums-diaclone-s-picture1438-diaclone-ironhide.jpg). ;) And the blue on AoE Strafe is also arguably reminiscent of Swoop's Diaclone colours (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9iOmQePQ2zY/UKkNMPVXLxI/AAAAAAAADB0/h7s6Fn7OhGA/s1600/2512922230100811158S500x500Q85.jpg) (which was also used in the G1 cartoon (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5oR5w8g5VRE/UDOoAebceRI/AAAAAAAAANY/XTVzK_0tff8/s1600/Swoop.jpg)). G1 Ratchet, Skids and Crosscut (http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/6/67/CrosscutAuto-toy.jpg) have also been reissued in the colours of Movie Ratchet (http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/attach/4/0/5/9/7/RatchetG01_1237725484.jpg), Skids and Mudflap (http://homepage3.nifty.com/redalert/toybox/tf/COLLECTORS/CLE12/DMG_0765d.jpg) respectively. ROTF Scrapper's colours are also similar to G1 Scrapper's Diaclone colours (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2464/3713085337_1e4e1a1cc4.jpg), which in turn are similar to his late G1 (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MnWWrTL4Kig/UnfjxZWBqFI/AAAAAAAABIg/TmYuEL4yU10/s1600/IMG_6590.jpg) and G2 colours (http://www.transformerland.com/image/reference_images/3818.jpg).

Pretty sure there were a G1 coloured Starscream & Ratchet (not the HFTD one)
Rescue Ratchet. He appears in the first movie too. Well, a same-model rescue vehicle w/ Ratchet's G1 colours appears in the film. It's in the scene where Major Lennox and the survivors of the Soccent base attack return to US soil and are immediately intercepted by Banachek and Sector Seven agents. You can see the vehicle parked in the background.
