Got a few over the last few days
eHobby Ramjet from Sideswipes Brother. Only one Seeker left, which should be here any day now.
TFCC Shattered Glass Cyclonus from Sharky McShark. That leaves Strafe & that mold is done & dusted. Artfire and Stepper are the other two i need to have all the Targetmaster variations.
TFSS Sideburn also arrived. That just leaves SG Rodimus for that mold, but the chances of finding one at a reasonable price? :D:D:D Not going to happen

Got Mp Sunstorm the other day. He is all the wrong colours so good job hasbro....and the images on his box are of the old version photo shopped yellow....and tru online packaging. ...lets just chuck it into a large box with no packing materials at all so it can bounce around and get damaged. Yeah, I've found that if you chuck in the pre-order pretty much the moment you get the heads-up email you get the first round from BBTS, if you put it in after a few days you end up on the second round which can take ages

Somehow I got onto TF Source and bought loose only transformers, this doesn't bother me as I remove them from packaging anyway. Yeah, TFSource had decent prices, my only problem (I found this out after the fact) is I went for two things, or drunk me, 1 if you went over $150 you get free shipping, but if international then you get some shipping paid for, thats fine. However, 2, I thought I was getting 'TF Points' right up until I check the other day that you can't get them if outside US and Quebec. Said points can be put towards transformers... Ah well.

I've still got my giant ... giant-normaus pile of loot sitting at BBTS ... but thats my birthday present that I've building for a while ... will ship that in late October.

Whereas before when they still have those massive boxes than can fit a 5 year old, it's just one big box... I think it's to save the backs of the posties :D:p. These boxes though arrive either together same day or a few days apart delivery wise.

I was lucky I had most of it still packed from when we moved last year because it was into a rental, now I can get everything it because it is permanent. I hope everything fits I think I will have to buy more shelves though

I got mine at a fete years back around the Camden area for like $10 was a steal, wasn't in perfect condition but still looks awesome, I shall check and see what it says when I get home tonight

Hey Speros, I didn't get a chance to go to the comic con,
how was it getting to meet Paul Eiding?

It was great hes was a really cool guy the line was short so got to have a good convo with him hes done alot of other cartoon voices aswel and he said he loved doing transformers and good to see some old school types coming to see him.

There was alot of people dressed up as diffrant TFs one guy was dressed as Rodimus and another family had their babys pram with a picture of Optimus on the top with a sign saying optimus pram

Nah he didn't want to sell for personal reasons, one popped up on US only ebay and I made him a no mucking around offer which he kindly accepted :D

Grimlock just arrived by courier. He only had a thickish plastic bag protecting him, but he only had a minor ding on the top left corner. Really happy with him. Joints are pretty tight, except for the legs swiveling to the side.
Is there a way to fix that?

I do have what looks to be a pen mark in the shape of a P on the end of his snout. I'll try some rubbing alcohol later.

All his joints are very stiff especially the wings! so be careful with that the lunch box extra thing abit lame but it free .My last complain about him is that the black plastic on his hips legs looks cheaps and very little detail there . He got great articulation and it just how amazing he look like the cartoon ! robot and alt mode looks perfect

lol didnt even look at the coin to realise ....looking at it closely the cardboard art print is wrong but lucky the actual coin engraving is the right spelling ...also did a mod to his hip as the lack of detail is on the front ..but the back has nice detail:rolleyes: ..... so a couple of unscrews and changed them around ....lol

The quality of it is actually better than I thought it would be. Esp considering it's a KO. Unfortunately I can't say how it compares to an original though.

There is quite a bit of die cast in the lower body. The upper body and arms is all plastic. The right fist is spring loaded ( can fire off fist or plastic bullets ). It comes with stickers and bio card. 2 guns/weapons and some plastic bullets which you can load when he's transformed into a gun.

Very good quality wise. Ive not have a play of the original, but I have to say it's like buying an original G1 item, pretty close to the original from what I can see, the die cast is there, Chrome is very nice, no loose or parts that doesn't fit or seems off ( well from mine that is) and he comes packaged in the box in robot mode so no probelems with customs - mine didn't get opened or anything. I don't think I posted it here coz you know, gunformer... :D:p

Big W here in Australia are selling this awesome 8-issue reprint of the original first Transformers comics for $24! Plus it comes with Megatron and Optimus from the 3d puzzle line.

All beautifully printed in pretty high quality covers and paper too! Love this!! :D

Transformers IDW Collection Phase 2 Vol 1 (from Bookdepository)

what was the packaging like on the IDW hardcover?
I've ordered a bunch from Amazon but they weren't wrapped individually and not packaged very well, all of them got damaged. When I asked for replacements they sent them the same way and got damaged again, although a bit less. I'm hesitant to order any more online now. I've ordered other hardcover books before from Book Depository and they arrived fine but didn't seem too secure or protected, so I'm not sure if there is just something a bit more fragile about these IDW ones (they kind of do seem a bit more fragile in a way in my hands) or I just got really unlucky :(

It just came in a solid cardboard custom fit envelope, slightly thicker to the smaller cardboard envelopes than most of my trades come in. They didn't do any extra protection. There might be some slight rubbing at the edges, but I find the individual envelopes that Bookdepository use usually provide better results than Amazon's big boxes.

But I've also ordered some big book (Marvel Omnibuses) from Amazon and they were shrinkwrapped and treated with some better care too.

ok that's interesting, I think last time I ordered from Book Depository they just came loose in a cardboard box. Might get onto it...
