A couple of hobby conventions were on in Japan on the weekend, and a small selection of upcoming Transformers items were on display.
At the Super Festival 66 (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/million-publishing-goshooter-shouki-and-cloud-roadbuster-hellwarp-display-images-181227/), the two Million Publishing Generations book toys for this year were on display (Shouki & Go-Shooter), plus the fourth wave of the Cloud toys (Roadbuster & Hellwarp).
Not much to see there.
But over at the All Japan Hobby & Model show (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/dual-model-kit-optimus-prime-playstation-optimus-prime-megadrive-megatron-and-more-new-images-181226/), TakaraTomy have on display...

The Megadrive Megatron will be out October 31st for about AU$80-100 in Japan, while the Dual Model Kit will be out December 27th, for about the same price (depending on your source).
