Ny has it at the lowest but be warned as my current dealing with them on a defected bandai product had no compensation I rather Not save ,1500 yen in this case.

I am okay with lightning as I don't understand the over hype for it.

Since I am exiting macross this would be a nice one to stop at.

The SV-262 looks interesting. I may pick one up. Th VF-31 is too similar to the 30 for me. I'm kinda getting over the forward-swept wing thing too.

The show looks like it could be fun. As long as their are plenty of dogfights, I'll be happy.

1J looks good but its going to burn your entire wallet plus pants and half your t shirt, I believe it will be at 35,000 >45,000 mark

Lets not forget they will try and add the armour.

Looking at the 1j again I think the nose cone is too long, you going to be stuffed if they try to add the armour.

They are great if you had the initial takatoku line, they had 1/100 Conversion kit which is the destroid tomahawk, defender etc..

I'm not really a fan of the whole light-up thing, but it does look good.

Did anyone get the Hi-Metal GBP Armor set? Was it any good?

Interesting new reveals, as cool as that big new VF-1 is, I think I've bought enough VF 1J's for one lifetime.

I think I want that VF 31 though, while the design doesn't depart from the VF30 all that much, it is truly refreshing to see a (presumably) hero Valkyrie that has it's own unique colour scheme and no SMS markings, yay!

Even more keen on this new SV model though.

And for me the most exciting release is that Britai figure, I've been waiting for a new figure of him for years. I sure hope he sells and they Figurarts do more Macross figures from the original series.

I wonder what the series will be like, I don't think much can be gleaned from the trailer other than it follows a Macross Frontier style art direction.

Hate to say that it looks like an ultraman fighter plane than a military style plane.

I like it because it diverges from the norm for Macross, they've kinda exhausted standard earth jet designs in previous valks, so I want to see more alien looking designs. Can't wait to see the other modes.

That is a nice looking Valkyrie. Wings look quite similar to a VB-6. Lack of a clear cockpit canopy possibly indicates either a YF-21 or VF-27 type pilot interface.

Nah, they should just go back and use more old classic aircraft designs, Macross is entirely fictional universe after all, so why not have a A-10 inspired valkyrie, or some old MIG based valkyries?

I don't think they are overly keen using the SU designs but I guess some valks is better than none. Will wait and see battroid mode.

I want the VA X3 flying wing Valkyrie or the Vampire myself, and then there are many more like the Mirage or other odd dsigns from Shoji Kawamori's Design works books. there are a whole bunch of very non traditional Valkyrie designs I'd love to see made into modern toys.

Couldnt agree with u more on frontier valks. I only own one which is the armed to the teeth armoured VF-25S Ozma which looks bad ass in fighter mode!!! I've always found the battroid mode kinda looks more insect than mecha.

I like to have a laugh at their expense every now and then. It would be particularly amusing to read their responses to the Delta announcement.

Having said that, Robotech wasn't that bad. It was all I ever saw as a kid and I liked it (the SDF series anyway). I think that Macross fans think it's cool to hate on Robotech and sometimes take it a bit far.

they're re-issuing the Alto YF29 .... , im going to skip this as i got two originally already... and it a flopping mess so hopefully they fix that issue... but it one of the fav ... just love the red... so i guess the super parts going to sky rocket again.... it sky rocket after the first reissue but came back down alittle ... i just customised the 30th anni and save my self like 200 !! :)

a) Klystron really likes the mass production cannon fodder VF-1A
b) VF-1A CF toys are easy to source
c) VF-1A CF toys are cheaper than other versions
d) Klystron is a tight@$$

Nah he sold it. I found one in Australia on eBay without a box so got it for a good price :) thanks for the VF-11. I had a bit of buyers remorse after I got it but once I got time to transform it I fell in love. I love how easy it is to go between modes. It looks awesome in Gerwalk!

The collection is getting there. I have 10 Valks now. Trying to figure out how to display them all before I put up pics. Space is a killer!:o

Here goes nothing, first time ever uploading pics to a forum so hopefully this works.

Unfortunately it was going to be too difficult to pull them all out as we are pretty stretched for space in our unit. I still have another box somewhere with my one and only frontier valk renewal VF-25S armored Ozma as well as some more hasegawa kits.

Hopefully should have them out and displayed in the new place around May 16 along with a couple more additions (VF-0S & Vf-4G).

Thanks guys, been collecting since about 2006. I like both scales but because the Vf-1 valks are so small in comparison to MAC plus and MAC Zero valks I decided I would keep them at 1/48 and everything else can be 1/60. Truth be told tho I do like the level of detail on the 1/48 with air brake and movable flaps.

If u look closely you will see a 1/72 yf-21 which was my first valk ever. Saving that one for my son when he starts to show that he is ready for high level toys

that looks really nice man.... with the cracks is decal drying up... maybe he didnt soften the decal and clear coat over the top of them enough ... but over time the top coat can get brittle as well as with everything that age...

I do customs and model where ever i can as it my hobby and i love it... and i also do commission every now and then as well... :D
If they willing to pay then ill do it that forsure .... but alot of people dont understand that it take alot of time and effort to complete and paint a model properly .... so they surprise when i tell them how much it going to cost.... but i do explain what going on and they understand ...

yeah ... that right.... local hobby shops have them ... but you have to remember there are two types... one for ink jets and the other for lasers ... the ink jets one you have to be careful when using them as i heard but i never tried them... too much hassle.. as you got to clear coat them first or something like that ....
laser one you can just put it into the water straight away no problems....

you can get clear or white back ground.... then just print and cut out close to the picture as possible...
it abit thicker and stiffer then the waterslide decal that come with the models kits ... but you use mircoset to make it stick to the kit better and mircosol to soften them too contour to round and odd shapes ... Them two bottle is a must for waterslides ....

the only thing is that you can't print white... and the clear background ones doesnt go onto dark colours like black good... so only light ,bright colours surface works good...

i watch it with subs and it all make sense now ... lol ... didnt like it first time either ... the singing doesnt kill the aliens... but cure them ....
cuase there an outbreak of the vars virus that turn people mad and violent .... and the singing which has the inter dimensional power to cure it or neutralise it... and the valks protect and give the girls the support they need ....

So I watched episode 1 today. Animation looks pretty slick and the....err...goodies team valks look pretty cool.

Watching the scenes with cutesy girls singing had me questioning my masculinity a little and I swivelled my tablet so my wife couldnt see what would have looked like watching sailor moon reboot.

Will keep watching for now however I think its really aimed at teenage audiences which unfortunately I am no longer part of that club.

To be fair, the VF-171 is a better mass produced cannon fodder than the 19's and 25's... :p

At the moment, the energon point system effectively gives you back between 5 to 6.5% credit of all your purchases, so if they were to increase it to 10%, I would hope it would work the same way.

However, in the post (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=512692&postcount=1147) that they made, I interpreted it as an additional (one time) 10% bonus on top of the points system as a thanks to shoppers who placed orders in 2016.

I could be wrong though.

I am going to ask for deltas and the dx chogokin VF-1j . Since they can bring in things like Voltron. I don't see why not for bandai items.

New Macross 2 from evaluation toys don't seem to be hot, while I think Arcadia has most stores covered leaving bandai which sells fast.

I won't even Dare to say I be loyal to PC if they bring in Macross as you won't know how many they stock, how fast they sell, what price,their monster was a day late and I already pre ordered elsewhere which I was lucky I could cancel but you can't if you place with Amiami.

Take note what tfi is going through and keep in mind I want PC to succeed not fail by bringing in stuff that doesn't sell.

HLJ raise the price back from "Our price" to the list price then ad discount to make it look like your saving 35% but it's actually less then that, its still cheaper than there our price though. I just hate how they do that now.

Since i got here i could finally open my Arcadia YF-19, has been sitting here for 2 years! Long enough time that i could have just got the reissue this month lol

There's quite a few more subtle build changes than i thought. The loadout options are great and really clip in nicely, but i'm not a fan of connecting the fast packs... my god they were a pain! Really could have done with magnet connections.

Still one of the nicest pieces i've got though. Of course opening a new Macross toy just makes me want more now, so bring on the Delta valks! Not sure if these pictures have been posted? They're from Wonderfest

Of the 31's, i'm liking the J variant the most... nice colours and i prefer my valks without tattoos! The SV262 looks great as is and doesn't need any more colour scheme choices for me. I hope the battroid doesn't end up with too much wing kibble!

What I actually noticed at the Tamashii web display was that there were "what looks to be" Macross Zero (chogokin), Macross 7 Firevalk Chogokin, Macross Plus YF-19 chogokin.

I definately can be wrong here but that was a no photography section and the pictures I see is from a distance.

According to some sources they are chogokin versions and is like the ace plane is selected. Mind you its a no photography area so is hard to confirm anything.

they actually had both there... so it depends on which one your were looking at ...
but the dx chogokin were prototype anyway... and most likely 3d printed ones and not the final version ...

Mate, I honestly prefer them to be CLOSER to the product release. The destriod Monster is reasonable as its release July. While you know the Gundam Destiny is like in October/November for pre order since last year, and seriously I think is wtf. I don't like pre ordering things that take over 6 months imo.

And I certainly hope their quality of plastic isn't dropped either.

Superglued like, permanently superglued?:eek: i have been meaning to use future on mine to see if it helps but I really don't mind if they all pop off. It's easy to get them back on and besides, I haven transformed my VF-4 in ages.

I agree about how good it looks though. While the YF-19 is my all time favourite Valk, the VF-4G will always have a place in my collection due to the engineering marvel that it is.

Yes superglued :) I don't have future but thought of clear nail polish.. but i don't think my wife has any. I used a toothpick to get just the tiniest amount of glue onto the ends of the tabs, which was more than enough.

It doesn't realllly bother me that they popped off, and i understand why they made it that way. But, those 2 on the neck with the sliding mechanism... it's nice knowing it really is "perfect transformation" now, because no matter how hard i tried before, at least one would come off!

I'm confused, what are you referring to by masterpiece VF toys? As far as I know there isn't any recent mainline valks with batteries.
