I bought my Armour for vf-25S at $165 but the vf-25F Armour is way over board.

The VF-25S is priced so high that nobody bothered to even look at the parts any more. Whereas the 25F was reissued but the parts went sky high.

It's way ahead of the Yamato mold, except, possibly, in battroid the Yamato wins out. It has detentured joints and is generally a solid figure. The head/cockpit can be a bit of a pain to transform when going into battroid as well. But then again battroid was always the weakest of the 4 modes, even when well represented.

got my yf25 prophecy today ... :) they just change the canopy just a little to fit two person in there nicely... they also did a good job colour matching the paint and the plastic orange colour , it a bit dull for my liking...I wanted it more bright fluoro orange.... ill post some pic later as im rearranging my room to display them .... man the armoured vf25s is massive and take a lot of space !!

I saw them available at Nippon Yasan but I think Tober and most of us skipped this piece. The RVF-171 may change my mind on the other hand, but for now I think I might have reached the end of the road since there isn't any news about 25G reissues.

I highly doubt the stand is included as it is a Wonderfest kit. That is your generic gunpla/robot stand where you can get everywhere.

These? Not over $150 each.
Vf1s takatoku is worth more but those are Bandai
The Only bandai ones that are worth money is the max blue and miria red variants anything else paying over $150 is pushing as they can be bought under$100

For $150 I could score the vf1s with super parts.
Note do some research on takatoku macross vs bandai as they look identical but the bandai version will not be able to use a Gbp-1s armour from takatoku.

I used the macros kit 1/72 stand , they cheap and fit just right behind the wings...

I just found the vf-1j at 6,000 yen so you need to see where they stand in terms of prices. I have almost the entire collection for these including the rare super ostrich and elintseeker. Is a waste that bandai did not finish the job in reissuing them as they thought they were not worth it but they were reissuing what people don't need.

And wasted the chance for a VF-1D 1/55 scale which was never done.

Typically the release time is 4pm Japan time, which is 5pm Eastern here. Almost certainly at Amiami and Hobby Search. CDJapan and even the random HLJ have been known to open earlier. Try to follow the thread on MW. CDJapan and Anime Export are probably the best bets. Good luck! :)

I'll try to grab one for someone here if I see an opening, but it's really unlikely.

But normally if you type bandai chogokin Ozma vf-25 and click image on google it works. If this was like the gundam toy which I just posted without links is understandable as it is brand new. But I believe Ozma should be there.

that kinda sux.... but im not really too fussed not getting him as i got the v1 in fighter mode and with full armor on not that different from the v2 , just would of like to display him in battlroid mode as the v1 is a floppy mess .

Just saw this morning that my black VF22 the grey plastic on the chest intake area is brown/yellow !!! :eek::mad: and not grey ...!!... that was the brandnew one fresh out of the box !~! i wouldn't have notice it is a different colour for the fact that i got another one in fighter mode next to it..... so grey plastic also turn yellow in the box!!!!

Same I had the same feel for vf-25F alto as I had version 1 and didn't felt all keen to get the renewal from Amiami.

Look out for vf-25s at chipmungmung or angloz at slightly more marked up if you are still keen as they had the reruns for vf-25F as well.

Lol not a chance, I don't think tamashii web made this an limited and then choose to reissue it.

Your best bet is to get super parts or a lucky sell off on mandrake.

love the paint app and the tempo printing ... even got the tiny no step on the wings ....
My figure came with his feet missed aligned and was pushing the plastic on the right hand engine :mad: it is now slightly missed shape :( ... The only other thing is that the ankle is slightly loose , but every thing else is nice and tight ... Every one going on about how it need a brace included to stand up etc , but mine nice and tight that you don't need it at all...even in robot mode ... i think they just included so that the people can have that option and stop complaining for a little droop ... but my doesn't so i very happy with that ...
Just love the missile pod as you can open them up individually and has tiny writing on them as well ... the gun is also slightly different shape to the others which is a nice touch. The figure got a waist rotation now as well . The wings got missile hole so you can attach missile to them but it doesn't include any :( but i borrowed the missile from the armor vf171 and they look good on the arms :)
I would like to have the tail fin snap into position at certain angle but it just freely moving and the side wings should snap together straight more tightly.
All three mode looks so nice with this figure ....highly recommended

love the paint app and the tempo printing ... even got the tiny no step on the wings ....
My figure came with his feet missed aligned and was pushing the plastic on the right hand engine :mad: it is now slightly missed shape :( ... The only other thing is that the ankle is slightly loose , but every thing else is nice and tight ... Every one going on about how it need a brace included to stand up etc , but mine nice and tight that you don't need it at all...even in robot mode ... i think they just included so that the people can have that option and stop complaining for a little droop ... but my doesn't so i very happy with that ...
Just love the missile pod as you can open them up individually and has tiny writing on them as well ... the gun is also slightly different shape to the others which is a nice touch. The figure got a waist rotation now as well . The wings got missile hole so you can attach missile to them but it doesn't include any :( but i borrowed the missile from the armor vf171 and they look good on the arms :)
I would like to have the tail fin snap into position at certain angle but it just freely moving and the side wings should snap together straight more tightly.
All three mode looks so nice with this figure ....highly recommended

yeah agree about the stand....it looks great but the cost and the shipping abit much...
The missile rack is clipped on so its easily detached. I think they made it like that, so people wouldn't snap it off when transforming.

Not yet. Although the reason the missile pod is rovable is so that other weapons, like a beam cannon, can be equipped.

Bandai do have a history of doing strange things with colour for the VF range- like painting white on white plastic and the like.

Fighter mode is just pure sex :D I managed to get a preorder in for a 25S with CDJapan and was chasing renewal Armored Parts when it hit me that for the price of Ozma and the Armored parts, I could pretty much have a VF-4. So I'm gonna sell my Ozma when it arrives. If anyone's interested, let me know.

I'm also open to trading the 25S for a MISB MP-10B.

I dunno what's the deal but since Arcadia took over it feels like they are not affordable for me to collect. The yf-19 was already where I could not afford.
My worries are about the quality of the toy.

Yamato is known for their quality issues, I am unsure paying over 30000 yen will resolved most of it.

I rather buy two mp starsabers and display one in alt mode.

Don't get me wrong the toy looks great, but the price is hard for me to hand over. I thought bandai chogokin macross was bad enough, but they do have some amount of metal in their toys.

I do hope you're right, if i could get it for around 300 all up i might be persuaded. But it's just hard to see why it should cost more than the YF-19 - it barely has any accessories as well - gunpod, pilot, air to air missiles and missile launchers, stand attachment.

Well the pricing is about 31,000 yen from amiami and similar stores.
I have to say it looks great but just too much for me to splurge on.
Hence one reason I settled on my version 1 gpbs than waiting for the Acadia may release.

One of the shoulder pins cracked many years ago, but it's been through several transformations since without completely breaking - and is otherwise as new, though stickers have been applied. Thinking of selling mine to lessen the VF-0D burden!

My pick, the isamu yf-29. Great colour, bayonet gun, colours are great.
I now feel the 30th gets second rather than Ozma as Ozma lacked yellow highlights

It's a bit of a gray area, but selling Macross product as an importer is not likely to attract a C&D from HG.

Very sure I seen hobby shops sold macross do you remember love model kits and Yamato ones in Perth. Pretty sure HR did not sue them.

HG have been known to send C&D on products with the word 'Macross' in Oz before- hence why we've seen no Macross merchandise in normal stores- I'd have loved to get Macross 0 and Macross Frontier on DVD's/BR subbed but that's not going to happen unless we order it ourselves. With the internet it's not too bad these days but I used to remember the days when nothing came through.

Don't think HG is as stringent on it as they used to- think their fans have caught on about how poorly they're running their franchise to the ground and haven't been reporting things to HG as they did in the early naughties.

Alright so some pics of my VF-1A that i want to sell. As i said before, the cracks in the usual place have been there for some time (soon after i got it) and looks like with care it won't get any worse, and could probably be mended too. Only reason i didn't transform it for photos is cause my wife was pestering me to take her shopping :rolleyes:

Ebay prices seem absurd (even just the super & strike parts going for over 200)... so i'm not sure what to price it at really, but will start at $200 ONO and see how it goes.

No gap on the chest like the Arcadia, but i prefer the chunky legs to these skinny ones (not sure if that's accurate to the frontier version?) Looks like it has tampos for all the details too, dang.
