I think I be skipping all the rvfs missed my chance to own one here cheaply so I really not bothered. The yf-19 on the other hand, I would like to know how is it scaled and how it looks in plane mode.

transformed the rvf171...and everything is all good.... the shoulder seem good now ...like the alto version so no issue :D .... the bottom antenna has a thickness to it which i like , not like the very thin vf25 ..
Just love the small tempo printing "no step" and "171" on the wings never notice them before ....

the figure is good man.... very solid ... he one of the hardest to transform ...so if it your first time take it slowly...and it a pain in the butt to get everything aline ...but it does all click into place..... the stand looks horrible but it not as bad in person as it is in the picture ... as you tend to focus more on the fighter , which got heaps of detail and tempo writing , you can take the disc and antennae off it if you want and it become a normal vf171 .... the only thing is that the stand in battlroid mode doesn't seem to hook into place properly ... come with an extra set of wing with hardpoints so you can add missile to them from your spare vf171 armor set ...

News to be kept off the boards until confirmed/announced at MWCon was that Bandai were going to release their take on the Isamu Frontier YF-19, and release a VF-1 DX line... But surely that pic above is the old 1/55 DX aka "Chunky Monkey"... :confused:

I'm not sure what the 1/1 YF-29 is either. Maybe another life-size valk...

All will be revealed at the show next weekend or by someone who can trtanslate kanji. :o

The 30 is awesome. There will be repaints. Give it time. I will buy the hell outta that Skywarp-ish colour-scheme.

The 27 is same mould, they only added super parts to the renewal, I be taking the standard as it would be more different and won't mind a second 27 but damn my display is full

For 19, be aware is a vf not yf meaning they could release a blazing valk in red or the vf19s in blue.

yeah i do have the armour parts...it just in packed away... also he come with two figure , which was surprising :cool: a smaller one ,the back navigator .

With the yf27g , hope they fixed and have better colour matching then the old one as the green was slight off on some of the parts .

They are using the new VF-27 mold, the lower hips and super part attachment points on the shoulders are how I tell them apart. Just weird that the super parts aren't there. :confused:

The VF-19A is a modified VF-19 that has been customised for Isamu to be more like the his old YF-19. Thus explaining why it is a VF that looks like a Frontier style YF.

My Masei helmet came today !!!
the thing is that it was in a flimsy box , so it got trashed when delivering and is abit scratched here and there , i don;t really mind that as i can touch it up ...but the was thing is that the top visor is cracked :( , so i emailed them to get me a replacement ...
This is actually a real riding helmet , but no way i would ride with this thing... the quality of it is pretty bad... don't know why it took them so long to produce , proper riding helmet are 100x better than this....i was expecting a proper helmet at least , but it like a movie prop ...very disappointed...

Well i took the helmet apart and fix everything up with some superglue and sanding and paint ....plus i carbon wrap all the black parts... first custom for the year :D
It actually a scooter helmet underneath all that , now that it all fix i love this helmet!! lol

it actually a flat visor 1mm perspex which is button clip and curve to the front of the inside helmet , so i order a blue reflective tint film to tint it .... should be coming in a week or so ....
they offering a blue chrome or mirror shield for $45us extra , shipping in 2weeks :rolleyes:
... but after taking apart the visor shield , finding out that is flat!! :eek: i can tint it myself ....
When the helmet first arrived i was abit harsh because it came broken, and look abit cheap because the underside of the hood wasn't painted , but now that it painted black and the scratches been taken care of and looks new.. i really love it.... Also some of the early picture had the helmet arrow not aligned on the side , but on my one it is perfect :)
i missed out on the yamato release of the helmet , so this one the next best thing , plus you can actually wear this one as well.... it has nice proper padding inside but it quiet large making you look like a bubble head :p

Depends on my mood, to be honest Isamu Yf-29 wasn't SOLD out, it may be not popular as what it is hyped to be. I think I can let this slide till a different variant of this plane comes in.

My guess? Blazing valk in blues and red.

If I knew this was going to happened however, I wouldnt buy the Isamu Yf-29.

As i said before, the cracks in the usual place have been there for some time (soon after i got it) and looks like with care it won't get any worse, and could probably be mended too. i got that :) ... it the vf19s Emerald Force Color .... it doesn't have any front fin , has a 3 antenna on the head .... and the wings is slightly wider in shape to the YF19 ...

Gee they really lack RED and BLUE planes. I don't know about most of you, but if you bought every single new renewal till current, it probably cost a fortune! Each plane is almost $200 on average.

Tober we import our products from over seas so a lot rides on dollar value, import taxes (if we get caught out) or they forget to value it right as well as many other things. Sometimes if a business wants to remain alive you have to make decisions such as increasing the price of an item to cover what ever obstacles you may encounter as well as have a profit otherwise There is no point. Depending on your circumstances it's still a pretty good deal :)

They claim to have the rights to the term Macross and can block any product with that said name internationally even if they don't have rights to those said shows. It's the reason why we haven't had the Macross games and toys that come from the lines of Macross Plus, Macross 7, Macross 0 and Macross Frontier. The way HG does it is really shady. They send C&D e-mails to stores and bank on the fact that you don't want to go to court over it. The only way it can be resolved is if Big West (the makers and owners of Macross in Japan) takes HG to court over it but it doesn't seem like they're interested. Even though Big West really can't stand HG.

As Arcadia and Bandai work with Big West there's no way HG will be able to approach them without risking the wrath of Big West. Not that either company wants HG- why would they want HG who's done nothing for them to get a piece of the pie? Especially with the internet and people ordering online.

BBTS used to have Macross products like the VF-25S armoured parts but a C&D from HG meant there's no more Macross product is available that isn't HG/Roblowtech. I remember a time when people from the Roblowtech forums would report stores that sell Macross products to HG and they then send their C&D letters.

As for the new live action rumor- I believe it when I see it. I doubt it'd come to fruition and if it did it'd really suck. There's no VF-1 or anything Macross from my understanding- that's why you didn't see Hikaru or other characters from Macross in the Shadow Chronicles- they looked nothing like the original characters.

I think you're confused about rights to a name and intellectual property. They can't make Macross Plus or any lines because they don't own any of it and would be sued by Big West and the others for making a product they have no license or right to. In their eyes they own the trademark name Macross and anything that has that name sold in their "market" (I use that term loosely) would infringe on their brand and therefore they can sue for damages. (Which is a bit of a stretch- very few people want Robotech these days anyway)

I can read some people who are oblivious and still support HG. Sadly it is what it is. IF HG was at least making new toys, I can actually give some minor support. Unfortunately, just sending letters around isn't it. Frankly speaking I like a rich Toy company, once in a while who knows the history of Macross from another country to stand up and Challenge them. OR a group of toy companies that will stand up against this nonsense. Once a case is over turned, they will have less to stand on.

A lot of people like myself, have totally ignored HG products. I only see their movie attempt as a way of strengthening their position rather than actually a serious effort to make the movie.

Tamashii web means order as much and they make to order? Just like the latest YF-171 with armour, that's tamashii web. exclusive release where Amiami hlj and HS do not have them.

Wooohooo my VF0d finally arrived !! ... i think they did the blue very close to the cartoon .... don't know why everyone all trouble about it... it looks navey in some pic but it actually a dull blue ...so i like it... everything all solid and fine with mine ...no loose parts or anything , and all tab together nicely .... wish they included a stand as that would have been great ... now have to found a place to put it cause i don't have any spare stands... :(
