I was commissioned to restore a G1 Scourge back to a better state. I cleaned it up, disassembled him and gave the severely sun-faded pieces a hydrogen peroxide bath. I used 9% strength but I'm thinking I may have got better results with 12%. The sun fading is still slightly visible, but I'm sure you'll agree it's a huge improvement from what it was to start with.

Interesting to note that the hydrogen peroxide did not effect the rub sign at all! Still works like new.

I finished the job with a fresh set of stickers from reprolabels.com.

Nice work.
Can you get the higher concentration of peroxide readily at the chemist?

Yeah, I've seen 6%, 9% and 12% in the hair section of Chemist Warehouse.

Hard to say as it was a bundle deal (more than one restoration) and it was for trade, rather than cash.

The bottle of H2O2 was about $8, the stickers $9, and then there's labour. I don't mean to be coy, but each custom/restoration job is so different, with its own obstacles and complexities, my habit is to quote each job as it comes.

This reminds me, I knew a girl once who bleached her skin white because she turned goth. True story.

Noice restoration BTW :)
