Is it?

Just googled 'Australia Toy Forum' and this is the first link that came up.

Anyone can confirm this? If so, congrats Griffin. Congrats :)

Looking at the sites it seems unlikely that any of them are running any search engine optimization so the google rank is an organic one. Had a look at the next site on the list, the Star Wars one, and well the numbers don't lie:

Statistics
Total posts 28278 • Total topics 1135 • Total members 458 •

Compare that with the stats at the bottom of the front page of OCTA.

Well done Bossbot and everyone else here for making this the best and most active toy forum in Oz!

That's pretty cool. Ozformers has been in the spotlight lately on sites like TFW as well.

It's been a lot of hard work, with the help of a lot of people - the staff, who help keep the place in order, and lots of you lovely members, who contribute news, sightings and discussion.

Every year or so when I would update our resource webpage (http://www.otca.com.au/tf.html) (not updated for a while) with toy links for Australia, I would keep doing searches for other toy-collector sites that were located in Australia or catering to Australians, and the last toy-related site that was considered more active was the Mouse-Droid Star Was fansite.
Technically they weren't purely a toy-fan site... as many Star Wars fans are fans of the Movies or cartoons without any interest in collecting toys, because the toyline is just add-on merchandise. While Transformers has mostly been a toyline with cartoons and movies to sell the toys, so most fans have collected or have an interest in the toys.
But since they covered Toy news, like Toyfair up until 2007, I counted them as a toy-related site... but when that site started drying up at that time, certain traffic sites made it official that we were the most active toy-collector site in Australia (in at least the last 6 years if that site counted).
I don't bother too much with checking comparative stats these days though, as it could make me lose focus on the running of the site... trying to get public attention instead of just the attention of toy fans.
(and ever since Facebook took off, a lot of individual fansites have dried up, as people prefer the "one stop shop" concept of Facebook, instead of logging into several different interest sites)

Is it?

I'd be surprised if we weren't.

Is there any other Aussie sites?
