Rescue Bots Season Three promos and details

As Season three of Rescue Bots is apparently just around the corner, Hasbro have released some promo clips on youtube (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-season-3-preview-clips-181358/), but apparently none have included any Season 3 scenes.
The Music video looks to be Season 1 clips, while the other two promo videos are apparently just Season 2 clips (I haven't seen season 2 yet, so wouldn't know)... because Season 3 is supposed to feature their new Dinosaur forms to sell the new toys.

It looks like the Rescue Bots cartoon is staying on the renamed "HUB" channel in America, while the new Robots in Disguise cartoon will be on Cartoon Network channel.

For a little tease of what their animated Dino-forms might look like in the cartoon, there is also a commercial on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWxDDpyC8FA) for the new "Rescue Dinobots"... really cashing in on the Dinobot theme of 2014.

Looks like Season 3 of Rescue Bots is only a little over a week away, with the first two episodes screening in America on November 1st (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-season-3-premieres-november-1st-181380/) on the rebranded HUB channel called Discovery Family.

The first two episode titles and details have been released, so "spoilers" if anyone is treating this series worthy of spoilers...

Rescue Bots season 3 started today in America (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-season-3-premieres-today-181453/) featuring the new Dinosaur theme... which means the last two episodes for season 2 have gone missing for no announced reason.

According to the Rescue Bots story editor (Nicole Dubuc) on twitter (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-rescue-bots-confirmed-26-episode-season-3-second-longest-transformers-cartoon/31627/), the third season of Rescue Bots will be another full 26 episodes.

When those episodes air (along with the two missing Season 2 episodes), it will become the second longest running Transformers cartoon series.

Yes, the humble Rescue Bots cartoon, which has been putting along in the background of the fan community, will have 78 episodes by the end of this season, which will put it ahead of every other series except the original series (Generation 1), and only 20 episodes behind that one... which gives it the potential to become the longest running Transformers series if it continues into a fourth full year.

Something else for it to boast about. :D

"The Riders of Midwinter" is the episode from Season Two.

The next two episodes of Season Three in America. They are really going through this new season very fast.
The source site lists them as episodes 10 and 11 (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-season-3-episodes-10-and-11-details-and-another-double-bill-181625/), but could be 9 and 10, due to the second season episode being slotted in after episode 8. Did You See What I Thaw?: The Bots discover a caveman preserved in ice and attempt to help him adjust to modern life.
The Attack of Humungado: Monsters from Kade's favorite movie materialize; it's up to the Dino Bots to corral the Kaiju.
Thieves Like Us: The Bots must contend with thieving miniature souvenir replicas of themselves.
Time After Time: A renovated clock tower causes Cody to relive the same morning over and over.

It has also been found (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-season-3-episodes-11-14-details-181806/) that the other missing Second Season episode (Chief Woodrow) is being aired in America on January 18th, before those four episodes in the post above are shown.

Details of Episodes 16 & 17 are out (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/transformers-rescue-bots-season-3-episodes-16-and-17-details-182269/), suggesting the introduction of High Tide, and the last appearance of Dr Morocco... but ever since Tim Curry stopped voicing the character, it hasn't been as exciting to listen out for his appearance.

The next episode continues to focus on Salvage and Blurr, while a promo clip has been released by Hasbro showing us High Tide transforming (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/transformers-rescue-bots-high-tides-teaser-182352/) (the red boat is Heatwave).

Cody and the Rescue Bots must teach Blurr and Salvage everything they need to know.

A shame about the High Tide character having a multi-step transformation, as Rescue Bots toys aren't more than a single step, which means we are never likely to get a toy to match the cartoon. The upcoming High Tide toy (http://www.toycollectors.com.au/toyfair/2015atf21.jpg) has the cartoon alt-mode be a static playset, while the converting High Tide toy that comes with the playset is a (one-step) small blue boat that doesn't look anything like High Tide in the cartoon in either mode.
There will however be a non-converting figurine of High Tide that has the robot mode from the cartoon... but will be waaay out of scale with the other figurines, if you look at the boxed toy artwork or the cartoon.

Joining the new Bots in the cartoon soon is a Robot Dog called Servo (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-meet-servo-the-rescue-dog-182462/). I'd imagine that a toy would show up eventually, as it isn't a transforming toy.

I just came across this news posting from July last year (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=18901) that mentioned Michael Bell joining Rescue Bots, so it looks like the episodes being screened now were recorded nine months ago.

Details for the final three episodes of Season 3 have been found (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/transformers-rescue-bots-season-3-episodes-24-26-details-182766/)... and it sounds like another big finish like the previous two seasons.


S3 E24 I Have Heard the Robots Singing: Tensions arise on the team after Doc's new invention causes everyone to sing instead of talk.

S3 E25 Now and Then: The Island of Griffin Rock vanishes from the ocean.

S3 E26 Today and Forever: In order to save Griffin Rock, the Rescue Bots must make the ultimate sacrifice.

Episode 24 sounds like it could be annoying if it doesn't work... as other shows that have had "singing" episodes are fascinating to watch once, but are hard to watch again.
