The 8-toy Cloud series in Japan came with story chapters, and by the looks of it, a fair bit of artwork as well. The artist Nagi Miyako has released a collection of his works for the Cloud series (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-cloud-story-chapter-artworks-181451/).
