COMBINER WARS shipping in December!

This includes Voyager Optimus and Silverbolt. Leader Megatron is scheduled for late December.

Personally this is awesome! Getting an official Superion that is somewhat comparable to the third-party releases is a dream come true. Especially since I won't need to kill my bank-account for it. Silverbolt + Dinobots Unleashed = Very happy FruitBuyer for Christmas!

I wouldn't say it is comparable to 3P releases generally. They are is still not that great.

However I will agree when it comes to Superion. Although the TFC one is infinitely superior to the Hasbro version, its aesthetics are not for everyone. The FP upgrade of Superion Maximus is decent but suffers a lot of problems due to the shortcomings of the base mold.

I am mostly looking forward to this as although I see the new Hasbro Superion as incredibly flawed, it still better than Superion Maximus and may be better upgradable.

Yeah, I remember reading that somewhere too. Would be nice to get something in stores that I would actually consider buying. Over all this Kreo / Constructobot / AoE / Mash-up crap.

That's pretty good. I plan to preorder the first waves of Legends, Deluxes and Voyagers from RK. Approximately $260 shipped (though our dollar has dropped a bit) is pretty good. I wish RK would put up an individual preorder for each Megatron. Armada Megs looks good and would go great with Starscream, but I'm not as interested as I am in the G1 Megatron. I wish they'd have put Thundercracker in G1 Megatron's wave as well, I don't want to order 2 of him.

Having seen some of these toys in hand (albeit only sealed), the level of design/engineering looks to be about on par with the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons. The Voyagers are also a good size, approx. on par w/ the size of Generations Voyagers (rather than say the smaller TFP or AoE Voyagers :o).

I hope that you ordered EMS shipping Fruitbuyer, or you may have a bleak Christmas otherwise. I learnt this the hard way for Dec. releases!

Got a response from RK, they don't plan on doing individual orders for figures, not even the leaders. I could preorder the Megatron wave if someone was looking for only the Armada one. It's a bit of a hassle though.

Gok said they should be here early next year. I hope we do get them, in case I miss them. I may have to get Leader Megatron here, but Leader prices are outrageous.

Well it's meant to, the Voyager Optimus is part of the Combiner Wars line. The pre-order is just for Silverbolt and Optimus so far

I don't know. I only saw Optimus Prime and the Aerialbot limbs. I didn't want to hand them back to the Hasbro rep! :p

Both fair points. And what reillyd said has happened to us before (e.g. Energon Constructicons). Hopefully they'll all be released here come Easter, but I don't blame people for being skeptical. :o

Thinking about getting the first wave plus voyagers and megatron from robot kingdom has anyone else seen them cheaper or had a better experience elsewhere?

i'll probably be going with BBTS as usual, but ehobbybaseshop may get them also. Then of course there's Amazon.com -but only use them if you're going to open your items :)
