Anyone else here keen on getting their Snarl?

2 versions, metallic painted and chromed!

I only own a couple El cheapo 3rd party figures so I don't really count them, so this will be my first official unofficial transformer lol

Haven't pre ordered yet, waiting to see comparison photos of the 2 versions

I normally order from chimungmung, but he doesn't have it listed yet. BBTS still has the chrome version up for pre-order (which is the one I want), but it's a bit pricier than what I would expect chimungmung to be.

I'm inclined to wait a bit.

It seems to be so easy for KO makers to upsize figures, so it makes me wonder why Giga and even FansToys to a lesser extent don't just release the same toy in 2 sizes to begin with!

Dang, they've knocked it out of the park with this guy - very much a better articulated and larger G1 figure, but still very impressive for a first release!

I have pre ordered the metallic version. Was waiting for the chrome version to compare but after seeing the metallic version along side fan toys chrome, I realised the chrome actually looks shit!

I must be one of the few who are not into this guy? :o

I don't like his "young looking" face.
I don't like how the dino legs remain visible on the legs in robot mode.
I don't like how his chest is all clear.
And maybe it's just in some angles, but I don't like how his shoulders and sides of his chest are half way up his head? Makes it look like he's constantly shrugging?

I love his size though. And the yellow paint is growing on me over the chrome. After heavy considerations though, I think I'm sticking with FT.

^ your not the only one. He does look good, but there is something about Fantoys version that just clicks for me can't really explain it, it just does. I love the chrome and look.

We are just lucky enough as fans to have choices that cater for most of us.

Thanks for hte heads up. I placed a preorder too, but I'll be impressed if they can honour that price. It's the same as they've got on their FansToys dinobots. Unless it's some kind of earlybird discount.

Looks like Guttur isn't far off. Retailers are starting they have him in stock. Shouldn't be far away from Australia now. Yayayayayayayay
