I'm after Black Series R2-D2 and BB-8, but they seem impossible to find.

Look into getting the mafex 3 pack (they arent out just yet but it has R2, BB and C3PO) and should be of similar if not better quality than Black Series. They should scale with 6".

Pretty sure Mafex will have 2 packs:
- R2-D2 and C-3PO is scheduled very soon.
- BB-8 and C-3PO is end of the year.

They will be pricey. R2 with the ROTJ drinks tray accessory is cool though.

But if you want real value, get the R2 and BB-8 model kit off eBay. It'll run you about $40 and while you have to put them together, it's a lot of fun. I just recommend checking out the Fwoosh review and getting some good snips and a lamp to work under (light really helps).

BB-8 comes with Rey, should be a bit easier and cheaper to find since it is newer.

Picked up Black Series 6" Ahsoka & Kanan this morning from Sunshine Plaza Myer.

They still have a couple more of each.

Didn't see Farmboy Luke, just Finn Troopers, Old Han, and Flametroopers. Wasn't looking too hard though as I was in a hurry and more interested in figures that probably won't get a Figuarts/Mafex.

$29.95 each from the toy sale starting today, but I signed up for the Myer Card and got them for about $26.96 each. No idea if that's a signup bonus or ongoing deal.

Myer at Highpoint has two Luke Skywalker, two Ashoka Tano and one Kanan Jarrus (I have Skywalker and don't care about the other two as characters).

did you happen to look pretty closely at the ahsoka tano figures? I bought one, then returned it to swap for another one, but they both have paint issues on the head and face. hoping to find one a 'perfect' one at some point...

They both looked fine to me and there were no immediate issues with the paint. Although, as i was not planning on buying it, I probably didn't look as closely as would normally.

it could be for army building to have the troopers in 2 cases? although from what i understand at the moment they would just put 2 in one case. with Jyn it could be so there is more to go around? maybe they want to avoid the situation with force awakens where after the movie comes out and rey is the hero, everyone wants a rey figure but can't get one because they were scared it might not do so well and didn't distribute as much? i dunno how they make up the cases :p

I ordered the exclusive Kylo Ren too and it came packaged the same way. One side of the box was resting against the side of the shipping box but it arrived undamaged.

I decided to not order the wave 6 case. Too much duplication between the two waves so I will just buy the remainder individually. Also want to see how PC ships the wave 7 case.

Also, I hit up TRU Cannington this afternoon and they had the Black Series Rogue One wave. I picked up Jyn, Cassian, K2 and Emo Kylo Ren. They also had Rey/BB-8 but not buying her again just for a saber (already bought a second when they improved the paint apps :P). No Death Troopers, people are gonna grab multiples of them. :/ I managed to snag the last K2 I would have been devastated if he wasn't there. Massive figure, I love it.

The way these have hit, it looks like we might get decent stock compared to last year when Force Awakens Black Series figures were impossible to find.

I don't know how they do it. I've only started pre ordering Black Series from PC (have wave 2 also on pre order). Their Transformers pre orders can sometimes go a month or two past the ETA so I definitely would not rely them from a Christmas present perspective.

PC has put up a couple new listings for the Star Wars Black Series figures.

I ordered this Wave 7 yesterday because it seems to be all new figures and mostly from Rogue One.

Well I've been dudded on this as I thought, PC just said I can get a refund, no explanation for why the waves were swapped, unwilling to swap my order to the wave I actually purchased or credit provided. Told them that's the last Black Series wave purchase I make from them.

Myers is apparently stocking the black series shadow trooper helmets at $189.95, quite surprised seeing how they're amazon exclusives, bought the only one on display from myer highpoint (after waiting 20mins for the entire crew to unlock the spider security tag stuck to it, those things are horrible but I'm used to waiting), don't forget 20% off all toys is on as well so got him for $151.96 :D

And toys r us highpoint also had the regular storm trooper helmets for $150-ish (forgot exact price) so given time they may go down cheaper from either of the 2, or just grab a whiny ren helmet from zing for $120ish XD

PC has a wave 10 case available, it would mean i get an extra jyn and cassian that i would need to sell off, im fine with an extra death trooper. it still leaves the scarif trooper though... argh haha

I was in Minotaur in Melbourne at lunchtime and they have the usual suspects Rey, Finn, Flametrooper etc) but also Darth Revan, AT-AT Driver, Snowtrooper, Obi Wan, Baze Malbus, Chirrut Imwe and the T.I.E. Fighter Pilot (my first time seeing these in the wild). The downside is that they are grossly overpriced at $50 a pop.

I did not realise there were both 6" and 3.75" Black Series Force Awakens toys. I assumed some of the items I saw on eBay were KOs because a) I'd heard there were KO Black Series toys and b) they were missing accessories and in odd shaped boxes. Turns out they were the 3.75" figures (and possibly KOs still since they were from China).

I still want to get a Finn and a Poe, and I'd been looking at the regular 3.75" versions (but the Poe I prefer only comes with the X-Wing). Now I know there's fancier 3.75" versions I might get those - or still commit to the 6" versions if I can find them cheap. Have seen Finn (in both regular and stormtrooper outfits) in a lot of stores, but haven't see a Poe in a long time.

Praying P.C can nab some of the X-Wing Lukes. I think once I have all of the Original 12 + the 40th anniversary exclusives I'll call it quits on the Black Series line. At least until they do some fancy commemorative reissues for Yoda and Boba Fett.

MYER stores around AUS had that set for some time (2014) and was at around $149 then with some sales happening it dropped down below $99 and then some for a while there.

Parramatta only had 2 Farm Boy Luke's left yesterday and Casula had 0 -they did have the darth vader early bird set however.
Keep in mind though that with the buy one get one at 50% star wars action figure sale would have definitely driven sales too.

For anyone interested zing stores are stocking on the black series 40th anniversary figures, zing werribee plaza had a luke and leia.

Don't bother asking for specific figures as their systems show them all as one barcode, better off asking if they have more up the back but seeing how these guys only got one lot...not much hope, at $35 no harm in asking even if (good chance) its a no, they also have those sdcc black series boba fett+han solo in carbonite parks, same as tru's inflated price

They're getting smarter with pricing, transformers figures are on par with main retail, so is their neca figures, it seems to be stuff like play arts kai that gets blown out of proportion.

I caved and bought the Rogue 1 Cassian and U Wing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og1XCqy5L2o) set today for $24 at Target. I was against it at first, but yolo and all the rest.

The wing span when they're positioned straight out is about a meter and you can adjust them at will with a simple flick of a lever located in the rear of the craft.
Crazy cool toy. Comes with seating for 1, 4 indiviual retractable landing gears and it even fires Nerf darts. How cool is that?!

Suffice to say I spent the afternoon watching Rogue 1 and zoom-zoom'ing around the couch :D

I didn't expect to see Wave 3 (Wave 1 2017) figures in stock. The factory case was sitting on top of the shelves, so I just helped myself to it :p

Admiral Thrawn was long gone :( but there were still a few Leia's, Shore and Deathtroopers in stock. It's a balanced case (2 of each) so finding Thrawn shouldn't be that difficult...

Myer highpoint had wave 2 black series 40th in, ONE chewbacca, several jawa's, ONE storm trooper and ONE death squad commander, be warned...they're not MISB but its nothing too bad provided you don't look at the back or care about the corners.

And toyworld highpoint has many sarbines, obi wan's, leias...one at-at pilot, I'd love to meet the person who took the snowtroopers unless I'm mistaken, don't bother asking the staff either, already asked (for once the girl actually looked up the back rather than the usual "yeah nah sorry m8" response.

Out of 4 reject shops in the west I'm aware of only tarniet had any black series and its just 2 obi wan's and 2 leia's, werribee plaza didn't have any last thursday I checked (didn't check today ran out of time), altona gate and its 6 pegs were bare, highpoint didn't even have a spot.

There is a known scalper around highpoint so I thought I'd ruin his day before he found the black series figures, perhaps it was him who took the "sand people" figures as I'm sure they're meant to be part of this wave
