Mega Steel MS-03 Granville (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MEG10000&mode=retail&utm_source=retail_news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BigBadToyStore-Retail&utm_content=). An unfortunate name :p but really liking his design from Megatron Origins.

Mega Steel MS-03 Buster (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TFC10042&mode=retail). Keen on a Voyager-scaled Classicsverse Blaster. To date, Device Label Blaster just doesn't cut it.

Lets not forget Mega Steel Penrith, Parramatta and Blacktown :)

I dig Megs, though I hope they add some paint aps and accents.

As for the Blaster, I prefer Unique Toy's offering for a Classicverse blaster I think. The Mega Steel one's body just looks to much like Soundwave, I do hope they release a Soundwave re-tool though.

I don't quite get it. With Hegemon already available, and Leader Megatron pending, my question is - why?

And why restrict yourself to a tank if you're third party. Only TakaraTomy/Hasbro have the problem of toy safety laws.

Because it looks pretty much like a spot on rendition of Don Figueroa's Megatron from Stomrbringer in toy form. Personally I'd love to see more of his designs in toy form.

It seems like Mega Steel's been working on this for quite some time - as MS-02 not-Soundwave was announced at least as early as Sep 2013 (http://forums.tformers.com/talk/index.php?showtopic=144116). Gen Leader Megs was only announced half a year ago (http://thisisinfamous.com/hasbro-reveals-new-transformers-toys-botcon/) (if anyone finds an earlier reference, please correct me).

If Mega Steel had already sunk a year's worth of product development by then, then maybe it was already too late for them to give up the race unless the Hasbro version was vastly superior. Leader Megs looks like he's only good for striking (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attach/3/9/4/7/1/Gen-Leader-Megatron-bot_1403382060.jpg) poses (http://www.hasbro.com/common/productimages/en_US/e1437e4550569047f56cdfbe140e3f4b/e43d2a66f2c92bed1a80078a65e54948033f9ee5.jpg) from 80's comic covers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Transformers_(Marvel_Comics)) :p

@mods: Apologies guys, seems like an earlier thread (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=19443) for the company was started a couple of months ago. Please merge the threads if appropriate.
