This is one for the Comic fans out there... so for the rest of us, it might be a bit confusing at first but becomes obvious at the end... so I'll just point out that this is NOT canon (it was NOT approved by Hasbro or IDW).
One of the writers (James Roberts) appeared to have scripted a 5-page scene between Ratchet and Drift, which has SPOILERS for anyone not up to Issue #22 (the current issue is #36, so this is over a year ago), but doesn't change or alter the plot of the story.
It's more of a "what if" type of short story that could be included, but officially isn't.
The script by James has now been drawn up by Josh Burcham, and has been mirrored here. (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/comics-16/more-than-meets-the-eye-22-deleted-scene-181829/)

I love MTMTE but I don't love this scene (when I read it in script form and now art form). That whole issue though is the low point of the series IMO. I always like seeing Burcham do some TF art. He posts some great stuff on Twitter.

This is great.:p

I really should start reading the comics again. I stopped after Dark Cybertron finished.:o
