Thanks to TFW2005 (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/generations-classics-44/combiner-wars-legends-skywarp-and-rodimus-revealed-181927/), the German and Spanish Official Transformers websites have revealed our 1st (Albeit Lo-Res) look at the 2 recently speculated Legends figures.

Rodimus looks alright but is an easy pass. Skywarp looks rad, but if I get him, I'll have to track down Starscream. Thundercracker is already on my list, as I like the character.

It'll probably come down to priorities for money at the time. At least I can skip a wave for once. :)

Skywarp... they still have trouble transforming the toys for the official images, when they are packed incorrectly.

Packaging probably has a depth limit, hence not flipping the wings out.

But there's no excusing the media team...

Not sure on these two. Rodimus is probably a pass, depending on the combined he's supposed to work with. (I hope no one turns Off-Road into Kup...)

Skywarp looks cool, but I don't need legends figures for characters I already have Deluxes of...

I mentioned this to a bloke on Twitter who wasn't terribly impressed with the CW: Legends - Blackjack mold being used for Rodimus; You know who I think would work awesomely with this mold? :D

Don't suppose I could con anyone into digibashing this idea, could I? :p

Far from perfect boredom induced rush job at your service. :p

(I'm aware the colour layout isn't exactly G1 but I did what I could to make them look ok)

Yes, not blaming the packaging, as quite a few toys have needed partial conversion when removed from packaging... but the people taking the Official pics should be double-checking with someone or the instructions first.

I am horribly disappointed that Rodimus is getting a legends release rather than a new deluxe mould.

But sadly he will be in a box with Skywarp so I will end up getting it.

A new legend Rodimus, particularly one that's only a repaint, doesn't completely rule out a bigger size toy. Look at the other "legendary" characters in this line: Optimus Prime got a new Voyager toy, Megatron got a new Leader toy, Thundercracker got a new (remold) Leader toy.

I'd see Rodimus on par with Prime, Megatron and the seekers as continuing on the original intent on the Legend class, while others like Tailgate, Swerve, Powerglide and the Insecticons gives us classics versions of the smaller toys.

I think this Rodimus, like Prime, will go well with Metroplex.

The Runabout and Runamuck actually look pretty nice. I'd most likely buy those, even though I'd prefer deluxes.

I think I will stick to the Collectors club Runabout and Runamuck from the Gen Wheeljack mould.

Far superior in my opinion

Not cheap though.
