JP Q-Transformers mini-episodes on youtube

Q-Transformers is a toyline in Japan, that has a series of mini-episodes (about 5 minutes each) and a game.

The toys are small, sold for about 1,000yen (about AU$10) and the toyline isn't huge with only a few per month after the first wave launch, but here is a recap of the QT toys so far...

Each one is mostly just the characters standing static and talking... but are all in Japanese, so unless you understand Japanese, the most exciting thing is probably the intro credits.

Apparently there will only be 13 episodes (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/q-transformers-to-be-released-on-blu-ray-dvd-182229/) for the Q-Transformers series... and there will be a DVD and Bluray sold in Japan June 22nd, with some bonus extras.

Eps 9 and 10 are up featuring Tracks and Red Alert respectively. Although, Ep 9 seems to be private now for some reason. :confused:
There's also a "making of" style video which is just the voice actors recording their lines and chatting, but I can't find it.


HLJ have been pretty lax listing the QTF Figures, I'm pretty sure they didn't list Wheeljack until he was actually in stock.

At the 4 minute mark of ep 10, there is ad for 3 unpainted 'decoy' figures of the main characters of this series. Does the text mention that these will only be available at select stores such as Amazon?

I think you're right. The blue sticker is 店舗特典 (てんぽとくてん？) which is Store Benefits or something like it. The other stores are HMV, Tower Records and Yodobashi Camera.

But not for long it seems? Episode 10 is already set to private, probably in preparation for the release of the QTF DVD and Blu-ray.

Episode 12 has Ultra Magnus in it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JgPwFfHMAo), but isn't yet known to be a QT toy.... so maybe one is coming and they are including some future toys before the 13 episode series wraps up.
Or since the QT cartoon series is just talking about the 80s Japanese computer game "Mystery of Convoy (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers:_Mystery_of_Convoy)", a guest appearance of that original game character (with the other two Autobots in the game) was probably expected.

After seeing the Gen1 Convoy toy coming in April having the full (deformed) trailer like the Choro-Q Convoy toy, it should be possible to have a full trailer Ultra Magnus too... but it would have to be solid, not hollow like a car carrier.

This episode has Ultra Magnus crying a lot because the other two characters (Bumble & Rodimus) are talking and laughing about his role in the notoriously difficult 80s game, in which it was so easy to die in it (as Ultra Magnus).
The end of the clip has the QT Bumble in the 80s game, and failing.

Has anyone been able to access the Japanese QT game to play it, or is it one of those localised App deals that requires you to be of a Japanese address?

I usually love cute toy versions of G1 characters and snap'em up but these are just too deformed. Besides the G1 Optimus to keep in truck mode (because he has a tiny trailer built in) I'm going to skip the whole line.

YES. I have it, here's the trick (http://www.icreatemagazine.com/tips/how-to-download-ipad-iphone-apps-from-other-countries/)(only works for free apps).

If you kept the inserts from the packaging, they come with a little code to enter into the game so you can play as different characters. The codes aren't unique - there's just one code to unlock Jazz, one code for Prowl etc.

Go to options (the little gear button), and press the last option.
Enter the code in the part that says "シリアルコード入力"
They seem to have mistranslated code to cord.
