Leonard Nimoy Dead at 83.

After being rushed to hospital yesterday with acute chest pains, Leonard Nimoy has passed the final frontier. The world knew him as Mr Spock but we'll always remember Galvatron and more recently Sentinel Prime.

Nimoy was at the heart of so many things I loved, especially in recent years (as strange as that may seem). He will be sorely missed. The likes of his talent and kindness together are not common.

As a Trek and Transformers fan, I am saddened by his loss, despite the inevitable given his worsening health over recent weeks. I hope he can now rest and find the peace he was always searching for.

Agree, I actually do not know much about him as in his name (was not a Star Trek fan). And I did not know he was the voice for Galvertron though the name sounded familiar
