Here is my Junkion gang so far. United Wreck-Gar is going to remain himself as I figured the boss would have the shiniest paintjob.
I have two RTS Wreck Gars and two Junkheaps, one of each has the Lucky rogers kit on it. I need to do a headswap of modify one of the RTS Wreck-gars so he looks like a different character. I also need some blades and guns for them as they all have the same weapon. That is probably enough of them unless I get Scrapheap.

The individual bots dont look too bad, but dear god Menasor looks terrible!! The standard body proportions are just all wrong! Might have to go and look at some of those pics showing the mix and matching of the figures to see what looks best!

Well it's a good day today, decided to go to Parramatta and check out TRU and Target - they now have the CW limb bots as well as Megatrons. Unfortunately it seems the packing for G1 style Megs is less than the Armada version.

I got the last one from Target - there was still 6 or so Armada Mags versions left. as for TRU well, there was only 1 Armada Megs on the shelf left, but plenty of the Aerialbots and Dragstrips. Oh and Firefly seems to be shortpacked as well.

Anyways, glad I got there early to Target and grabbed this only 1. with 20% discount price too hehehe from $89 down to $69....damn these things are now worth more than an MP figure!!!:eek::eek:

I'm just sticking w/ G1 CW Megatron and don't particularly feel the need to have the Armada version. Young Handsprime got both, but Armadaverse was the TF line of his childhood (much as G1 was for me), so I can understand his attraction to that toy. :)

Yep, the Unicron Trilogy is basically my childhood, though it wasn't until 2008 I started collecting Transformers. The only Armada toy I had for a while was Armada Hot Shot and deluxe class Optimus Prime (plus Movie Inferno which is a redeco of Red Alert). It wasn't till last year that I got a bit more into my collection, and I never regretted that decision. :)

I feel glad getting both Megatrons because G1 Megatron is hard to find (mostly due to the fact it's FLIPPING MEGATRON and alot of adult fans/collectors are getting him cause he looks more like G1 Megatron compared to previous ones), while Armada Megatron is shelfwarming (various factors like what Gok said about how most Adult fans weren't children around that era and people prefer G1's appearance).
I'm probably gonna be one of the few people to have Armada Megatron, but hey I'm not complaining ;)

I would have thought with the teasers for the 3rd party Apollyon (ie. no-Megatron) MP scaled figure, that this would have been the kick up the arse Takara needed. But still silence from them!!

Even as a die-hard store-shopper, I find myself re-discovering the joys of in-store buying, since I had to buy most of my Generations stuff from Amazon. And good timing too, now that Amazon USA no longer ships toys overseas (and the falling AUD against the USD). :o

I'm just in this annoying period where I've piggy-backed on a group order for CW wave 1 (as well as later Generations stuff) -- at the time not being entirely confident of them being easily available here -- but I don't think the order will arrive until after Easter, but in the meantime I keep seeing all this cool CW wave 1 stuff which I know I have ordered online, but I want to own it NOW! So I've purchased Powerglide and all the Wave 1 Aerialbots, knowing that I'm going to have to sell off the excess when my online orders arrive. :p

Here's my current Transformers Masterpiece collection. As a G1 fan who grew up with the cartoon in the 80s, these figures truly are a dream come true. They never cease to put a smile on my face :)

And Takara just keeps putting out more awesomeness every year! They ended 2014 on a high with Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus, and 2015 is off to a controversial start with MP-23 Exhaust. But with MP-24 Star Saber and MP-25 Tracks on the way, and potentially Ironhide, Ratchet, and a big Decepticon on the way, this line is just going from strength to strength!!

This guy has one of the nicest cards I've seen for a purple Seaspray (a lot of them seem to be in horrible condition for some reason?)
And it came with the very surprising bit of info, that it was part of the Hartmans' collection, before the seller bought it from them directly in 2006. Very happy to have a former piece of their collection now residing in my own :D

Debating whether to get rid of the price sticker though. I usually like the price stickers, but this one is kinda ratty. Any suggestions? :p

that's unfortunate.. I just recently had a parcel from chimungmung never arrive, and after following protocol (contact auspost, after 2 weeks they say that the sender has to lodge the complaint to their local postal service, ask Tony, he got on it straight away, replied with the HK post response that it would take 1 month to investigate and 2 months to provide compensation - after which he would send me a new one if I still hadn't received the package), he promptly sent me a new item after I asked him about the status of the case 2 months down the line.

I found Tony to always be quick to respond to my issues.. sorry that your experience hasn't been as good.

Last day of the month was a happy day for me, all the wave 2 deluxe/legends stunticons to complete my first CW gestalt. Pretty happy with him, more so than I thought I would be, however when superion/defensor roll in I'll have to adjust my display space (ie make more) and will go with my original plan of arielbots combined, stunticons in vehicle and protectobots in robot, as that's how i think each looks best.
