Welcome, ain't nothing wrong with limiting your collection to optimus prime only. I had intentions of only adding an mp-10 & jetwing optimus prime to my collection, I now have 8 more from the MP line to keep them company :p

I'm bias to G1 Prime myself so a real sucker for the classic colour designs, including the non-transforming figures.
