Yep, but even as a re-tooled Quakewave I am preferring Cloud 9's proportions. Especially the head, chest and abdomen.

His legs are nicer than Quakewaves that;s for sure, and there are other features too as you'd expect for a new 3rd party toy. Should please everyone who missed out on Quakewave though not quite seeing enough to make me want to replace him.

This is looking very interesting, will be following closely with a keen eye. Quakewave is nice, but this guy's proportions just look much better.

I would really love to see a Takara Shockwave MP. These figures just don't tick all the boxes for me despite their excellent reviews. Maybe an official version will help me identify the reasons why.

I hear you on that 100%, I have a quakewave, am happy with him and didnt pay much of a premium despite only getting him late last year. However this, though proportions look better, I am not a fan of the busy-ness. Some people might prefer all the extra detail but I prefer smoother panels etc same reason I didnt pick up terminus hexatron. If i didnt have a quakewave I'd still be tempted I guess, but if fanstoys confirmed the quakewave reissue I'd jump ship. that die cast /drool

These proportions are definitely an improvement :) Hope he's smaller than Quakewave and might actually fit into a CHUG collection.

Never been interested in these clear versions (except ghost starscream) but I really like the look of that black one ... very tempting!
