Because nothing says "merry Christmas" like "peace through tyranny"!

I couldn't get the Optimus from the official Hallmark site last year, but these guys ship to Australia, about $40AUD shipped.

The Optimus ornament is here (price has gone up since last year):

That is absoultely awesome. I ordered Optimus from this store last year, and was most happy with the toy, err, ornament. It looks EXACTLY like the G1 toy, so spot on. I'd highly recommend getting both, since Optimus without Megatron is like a tree without presents underneath.

If you're a star wars fan, this store also has a range of Star Wars Hallmark ones, and Target is now stocking the Star Wars 2015 hallmarks (though only one or two per store).

Also the store stocks the Carleton AOE Optimus riding Grimlock ornament for 28.95. Its Christmas, and what symbolises the birth of our saviour than an alien robot riding a prehistoric T-Rex? (no sacrelige intended)

Optimus US$29.95, and
Megatron US$15.95
Shipping (ISS International Standard Shipping) US$14.40
Insurance (mandatory) US$0.95 (value up to US$50)
TOTAL US$61.25 (AUD 80-90 approx)

Best bit is the description of Megatron on Hallmark online site.

From a lowly peasant from the planet Cybertron to an unlikely hero, MEGATRON protects his people from villains in a legendary tale that captured the imaginations of TRANSFORMERS fans of all ages
:eek::p

Optimus Prime

Strong and brave Optimus Prime will bravely guard your tree.

Apart from the head sculpt, Megatron looks amazing! :cool:

Thanks for sharing.

Noticed Megs has a ornament loop on his right shoulder to account for the shift in centre of gravity from the weight of the cannon. Oddly, the box art omits this.

Can't wait. :)
