Will wait and see for this one (perhaps until the 3rd or 4th combiner member releases). Got no interest in the traditional TFC-scale.

TFC make decent toys, but their colour placement sucks. We can only hope they can reign it in this time for a change.

To be fair to TFC, I haven't purchased any of their figs yet, despite reviews showing pretty solid builds with good plastic. Simply as a personal preference, FP/Maketoys are just more in line with what I want out of CHUG :)

I agree, TFC bots tend to be blocky and servicable but not overly intuitive although that's quite in line with Hasbro's latest combiner wars. FP and Maketoys seem to be the only companies thinking outside the square and doing their own CHUG takes on things.

I was kinda hoping Maketoys would announce a new combiner, but I guess they are still working on Guardia.

Updated the OP with new images of Thanatos.

As for TFC, I've got all their combiners except for Ares (went with MMC there) and the quality as always been really good. They are tall, imposing and powerful looking.

Everything FP/MT combiners will never be :p

I really wanted LioKaiser but have never been a fan of TFC, their Hercules etc just haven't been of interest to me. I was kinda hoping Unique Toys or MMC would tackle this one

This one is a real dilemma >_< Really hope they do a good job with it.

I might be stating this too soon but in the above ensuring battle-to-not-end-up-as-BBTS-clearance, the manufacturer that will get my money is the one that produces their 7th team member, the deathliest of all cobras: Deathcobra ;):p

I am sure there will be Autobot Rescue force repaints. If Maketoys/FP do ever make their own version and you have the extra cash, get their combiner set from them and the Rescue Force from TFC for variety.

Yeah, I was really on the fence, but I'm 95% sure that if I don't get the 3P King Poseidon then I'll divert the funds to this (looking likely after seeing the deacons so far).
