Might just be the lighting in those pics, but i was hoping for a much more vibrant paint job. He looks nice and clean, but the gap in the chest, and the windshieldly look... (for the eventual alligator prime repaint)...
I was expecting to really like this one but now... not so much. I'll wait for reviews to see if the transformation has any magic though!

Looks like both i'd say! Just doesn't look as nice to me as the basic chest of G1 Skullcruncher.

Yeah unless they made the mistake of bringing a production model of Alligator Prime that was accidentally painted with Skullcruncher's colours AND showing renders with the same mistake - which is very unlike them, I mean come on, it's not like this is a first party company we're talking about here :eek::p;)

I think they did it very much with the repaint in mind. I like the look of the Toyworld one more, but I trust Function X QC more. Definitely only getting two of these.

I really dig the crocodile or gator mode, I expect it will have the same limitations as some of the other Function X toys, but hopefully also the same magic.

Completely agree. Not 100% on the robot mode, but the head sculpt looks good, and the alligator mode is fantastic. Just a shame as this was my most anticipated figure from the series, however Crox's chest plate deviates so far away from the original and not really in a good way.
