For those in South Africa, and probably greater Africa, Transformers toys have apparently only been imported and released by 3rd party companies (a bit like ToysRUs here doing authorised direct imports).

Now Hasbro has decided to locate a branch office in South Africa (http://news.tfw2005.com/2015/09/23/hasbro-expands-to-the-south-african-market-301782), to directly import and distribute their products, which is expected to make them cheaper for the local collectors. (not that I've ever noticed any prominent fans from South Africa on the global fansites before)

For the fourth movie Hasbro and Paramount had to heavily feature the Chinese market with locations, people and products/cross-promotions, because they had pretty much maxed out their profit potential from Western markets by the third movie.
So the only way to increase their profit potential, maybe the fifth movie will be featuring Africa or South Africa.
