Was beginning to wonder if there would be a book this year, but thanks to a hot tip from drahsrebu, a preorder listing for the latest in the series of yearly Japanese TF toy guidebooks has been found:

November release for about AU$30.

I don't know how well they sell, but I hope they keep producing them. They might be in Japanese, but they are still the best physical reference guide we have at the moment.
