I saw this at JBHifi today (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/movies-tv-shows/movies-tv-shows-on-sale/tv-animation/jem-the-holograms-truly-outrageous-complete-series/624142/) (it was bright pink - it was hard to miss), and thought it would be worth mentioning to other 80s children who may have watched it, as it was often on Saturday mornings with Transformers.

It's also worth catching up on before the new Jem movie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jem_and_the_Holograms_%28film%29) comes out later this month.

This is an 8 DVD set that is noted as containing the entire series... for $45 (JB exclusive).
There were 65 episodes in the TV series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jem_%28TV_series%29).

It's showtime Synergy....

$45? Truly outrageous......

For 8 discs, that's not bad compared to what other new release DVDs cost per disc.

Sorry that was a play on the series 'tagline'

As Jem was truly outrageous, truly outrageous....oh god I'm showing my age and embarrassing myself yet ago

(Walks slowly to door and closes it behind him)

That's hysterical... and it comes with a bonus t-shirt... THAT's truly outrageous!

I find it amusing they're remaking this as a movie... I'm not quite sure how it's going to translate from the show, although given the track record I suppose it may be similar in name and base concept only...

Where's my Thundercats movie??? Now THAT would be worth going "HOOOOOO" over! ;)
