New In-Package Pictures of Transformers Henkei

TFW2005 (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/classics-11/in-package-pictures-of-transformers-henkei-c-07-sunstreaker-and-c-08-prowl-165819/) has posted pictures of Henkei Sunstreaker and Prowl.
Both look good, but it would appear that Takara couldn't get Sunstreaker's wind shield yellow right either. It is closer but just of. Better than Hasbro's attempt though

The artwork looks similar to that of the Henkei comics - probably the same artist. :) Also consistent packaging design with that of previous Henkei toys. Awesomesauce!

The artwork is awesome, but the rest of the package still looks like a fight scene out of Batman. You're right that Sunstreaker doesn't look perfect, but I do think he looks dramatically better than Hasbro's. I can't wait either, although I'll probably hold out until the 4th wave expected on November 20th before I order to save on shipping.

I agree, the yellow is much closer in shades than Universe even if not perfect. The lemon yellow also gives it a bit more class and G1 likeness.

Final verdict will be when we have them in our hands opened but so far, I am impressed.

It does look freacking awesome even if color shades could have been better. The lemon yellow hides the difference much better than the bright yellow.

Is that your toy Kup? It looks great to me. I'm not really noticing any colour variations. Only thing, maybe they should have frosted the headlight plastic so they stand out more.

No, its from the net. My Prowl and Sunstreaker are somewhere above the Pacific Ocean making their way to Sydney :)

I agree about the headlights but its possible that it could be the flash of the camera making them look like that. We will have to wait and see.

Headlights - how about somebody disassemble the headlights and paint the back of them with a Gundam chroming pen?

Does anyone have an idea if these Henkai versions of the Universe classics have the same quality control issues the Hasbro Universe classics have? ie. Prowl's door paint smudging all over the place? These ones look great with the chrome weapons.

History says the paint applications will be greatly improved, but the plastics will be the same. If you ask that question again in another week or so, you'll get an answer that is more than just conjecture.

Supposedly it was only the first batch of Prowl's that had very poor paint (including my original Prowl :() but from the 2nd batch onwards - They've been greatly improved :)

Yea, I suppose the Takara stock photos match.

They do look nice though. I wasn't sure what to expect as my Sunstreaker has dodgy paint apps.

Its got some of the indicator paint (red?) on the bonnet of the car.

It's an easy fix fight?

Yeah, Takara tend to have greater fidelity between their stock photos and the actual look of the toy. When you look at their toy photos, it's pretty much what the toy looks like.

Oh, we normally never get advanced in package pictures of Japanese releases. Love love love. While many of you have had the molds from Universe, I have been wating for these to finally get my opened toy.
