I prefer FT's bot mode to Takara's, but I really don't like the split down the windscreen. :(

This one seems to win the backback wars at least!
It's strange, for what looks overall so similar, it feels like doesn't have the right presence... maybe a lot of little proportion differences adding up? Or the static pose maybe. Looks like a lot of cheating to get the chest closer to how it should be, and it's still not ideal.
Car looks too tall and squat to me. And like Tober said not liking the split windscreen.
Interested to see how it turns out, but by the time it releases i don't think anyone will care.

Oh nice. I'm liking the robot mode a lot more than Takara's, but I'm not too keen on the split in the chest plate and the windshield.
Bleh, can never be perfect can it? hehe

The fake chest andsplit windshield are minor quibbles but if it stops the torso from being ridiculously wide then I'm all for it.

I've just noticed that the split in the robot mode chest isn't shown on the hood in alt mode?
<edit> Nevermind, I see what you mean now cbratron!
Anyhow, the proportions are much better than the Takara version. Looking forward to prototype shots and seeing how much the price will be
