View Full Version : Old MPC/ERTL etc model kits

Hi, I have a few old model kits from the 90s which have been sitting around in the garage. Most are built and none are really painted but they aren't in spectacular condition, some have parts broken off ie AT-AT legs and the glue has gone kind of yellow. Would these be of interest to anyone? My family is cleaning out the garage and I need to get rid of them as I don't really display them or feel like painting/restoring. Just wondering if anyone here would want any or if there is any kind of general interest for this kind of stuff. cheers

there is a star destroyer somewhere as well but I haven't found it yet. I also have a couple that haven't been put together. Darth Vader's Tie Fighter, a Speeder Bike, an X-Wing and the Shuttle Tyderium. The boxes are pretty bad but all the parts still look pretty good and instructions too. A couple might still have them in the plastic. I'm not 100% sure if I want to lose the x-wing though:

To be honest I have no idea really what they are worth on the market (if there is one!), so make me an offer :)

I think I missed a couple of photos, I've got a Y-wing and a B-wing as well and I think I missed the shuttle too, I'll try and get onto those.

I think I'll just take the Speeder and Vader's TIE Fighter. $25 + Ship? Not too sure what to offer TBH. No matter what the price ends up being I'll have to wait til after Christmas to pay you.

prices vary quite wildly from what I can see on ebay. where abouts do you live? do you want the boxes or just the parts? would you consider $15 each?

I am currently working on restoring old model kits so would be very interested in these.

There was an issue with the board last night and apparently we lost all postings from the 5th of January.

To re-estate - If you agree, I am happy to pay $200 for the following items:

- ATAT Walker

- A-Wing

- Tie Interceptor
- SnowSpeeder
- RTJ X-Wing
- Broken X-Wing
- RTJ Speeder Bike
- Star Destroyer - If avaliable

I am aware that the pictures are depicting the condition of the items.

ok done. i will look for the star destroyer and any other parts. do you want the boxes? some of them are mouldy and dirty etc, not just old and worn.

Ergh, I just did a massive cleanout and made the heartbreaking decision to throw out all of my Star Wars model kits (pretty much identical to this list) as they were in various states of disrepair and I just wasn't going to be doing any more with them.
