It looks to be like the "second toy at half price" offer, in that it would be advertised at the store and applies to everything automatically (without a coupon).
I didn't get an email about it, and the website says (http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/offers/wk24-stocktake-super-saturday-kids-toys/20-off%C2%A0-the-original-price-of-selected-toys-) "20% off the original price of selected toys"... but it looks like Transformers is included.

It's odd that they didn't advertise it (or I just didn't get the email), and only having it on for just one day.

It's Super Saturday sale. One of those one day sale Myer is doing a lot of at the moment to drum up sales, albeit wihout much fanfare or comms.
