Yeah, but if you skip the video then you miss out on the pleasure of watching a rank amateur desperately attempt to edit a video and massively fail to speak clearly at the same time! Surely that's worthy entertainment!?

Videos are all fine and good and have a place, but I'd prefer to spend a minute looking at text and photos every time.

Anyway, great news IMO. I'm interested in Mindwipe and a Weirdwolf if they do one, and will definitely grab that Scourge.

Interesting stuff. I think Scourge is a bit unnecessary but that drawing looks very early days.
Bayformery type detail on Alpha Trion is also interesting. If they go with that much detail, they better not get skimpy with the paint or it will look awful.

So far the Headmasters look far better than the Targetmasters (both low-res pics of Blurr and Scourge are a bit too flat blue)

I notice the gun on Scourge has a spot for the Titanmaster to fit inside. So when in vehicle mode you can put the Titanmaster in the gun, and Fracas becomes a Targetmaster again!

Agreed. Videos annoy me.
I thought we'd already seen weirdwolf?

See, I just wish Scourge was a CW deluxe. I'd buy four and be happy with it.

I would have also like for Scourge to be a CW deluxe and have all 4 limbs for Galvatronus. My question is Scourge a voyager or a deluxe? I am hoping for a voyager as it scale nicely with CW Cyclonus and TM Galvatron.

I think he is going to be a deluxe.
I don't mind too much - this means I can use G1 Scourge for Scourge, then my Titanium, Generations and Titans Return ones for Sweeps :D
It's just a shame they don't make as many Junkions with different molds, you'd kinda like all your Sweeps to look the same but would like some variety in your Junkions, rather than just a buynch of different Wreck-Gars

I'll echo my TFW statements here.
They seem like preliminary designs at this point, unless they'll have a physical prototype or something at Nuremberg. Scourge looks promising so far, very G1 and a blend of toy and toon. Hopefully he'll get more refined before release. Interesting that they're using G1 toy styled stickers.
Mindwipe looks great straight out of the gates, as does the Chromedome head.
I'd have to see more of Alpha Trion, hard to see what he has going for him so far.

That said, while I'd settle for the Classics-y Wreck-Gar remolds, I'd much prefer a mismatched Junkion tribe as well. Combiner Wars Deluxe Groove Junkion retool please @HasTakTom.:)

I guess I was wrong about Weirdwolf... Guess I need more sleep.
Legends Groove is coming out with a Wreck Gar repaint, I imagine Takara's version (if they do it) will look a little different....

So people like the idea of different sized junkions? Takara may do Detritus, hopefully as a regular release. I hope they make a Groove repaint/retool as well.

I'm not sold on the Legends-class one myself, it just doesn't look right to me. Size- and proportions-wise both.
TakaraTomy CW Deluxe, though, looks like it'd make a pretty decent Junkion with some retooling. It's big and chunky and generic enough to work as an '80s-style pseudo-Mad Max junk-cycle-robot.

Interesting, as long as these guys aren't bigger than Voyager class then I'm intrigued. A new Scourge, Blur and if the rumors are true Hot Rod and Kup seem a bit superfluous though given they are likely to be inferior to the old Generations toys, given moderns toys cost cutting.

I would like a MTMTE style Hot Rod/Rodimus. The Classics mould is showing its age these days.
Kup however would have to be stunning for me to replace my Gen. Asia Exclusive Kup

Thanks. I tried to make a little show out of news that was essentially 4 blurry photos, so I figured adding a little history to the characters would make it more interesting.

What would a G1-based Alpha Trion turn into anyway? I really don't know with that cape and shoulder spikes. No wings (unless they become the cape) and no wheels evident so perhaps a submarine, or a rocket maybe?

Batman's Tumbler... in the IDW comics.

Theres this Alpha Trion, it fits well in with G1 with die cast parts and all and sizewise as well with the generations line, but unfortunately falls short with your second category - stupid amount of cash....:(

Do you think they are making Alpha Trion a wolf or a lion (Lio Prime?) ? The picture is somewhat ambiguous.
As I've not read any comics with Alpha Trion in them can someone shed light on what he has previously (if ever) transformed into? I'm intrigued...

It would be cool if they could make A.T turn into a giant electronic quill that Primus would use to record history - though that may lack some play value for the youngsters

In the original cartoon and other comic lines he never transformed. In IDW he has transformed into a Batman-Tubler-Car-Thingie

BotCon's Alpha Trion turned into a lion. He was a repaint of Cybertron Snarl. The toy was never produced but the concept turned up in their fiction.

While we're at it, I'd like to see how Alpha's lion mode stacks up to that of Cybertron's Leo/Nemesis Breaker and their Universe repaint Leo Prime.;)

On second thoughts I believe that's a wolf not a lion. Why do I say this? Look at the ear. It's pointy. Lion's don't have pointy ears.

Given the name "Alpha" if they were going for the beast theme a wolf would somewhat be logical, although the world of Transformers is rarely that...
I'm not sure I'm keen on Alpha Trion becoming a beast character although I am obviously bias to the G1 cartoon version. I always assumed he would be vehicular since he "created" Optimus and Elita as vehicles. He'd make a good tanker, or mobile library. ;)
I also wonder if they will portray him as a Prime (eg one of the 13 Primes) or just an ancient warrior... or a knight of some sort.

I'm thinking triple changer wolf/lion and space ship, judging from the images.
