The Japanese Wonderfest looks to be on today, and photos have been released of a couple of Transformers toys (http://news.tfw2005.com/2016/02/06/wonder-festival-2016-images-309093) - Masterpiece Optimus Primal (colour robot form & grey-scale beast mode), and Bruticus (grey-scale figures & colour promo image of the team).

Quite a few photos of the display to drool over...

Seems odd to me that they wouldn't paint all three of the Convoy prototypes.:rolleyes:

Primal's paint job is definitely looking sweet! Although I wonder how much that will add to the price of the figure?

Well its worth it... I will admit that I was a little worried how Primal was going to look painted but now I am totally stoked... :D

For sure it's definitely worth it! I'm just curious is all... even the blue of his 'bot head is a nice metallic that pops!

The fur textured finish is fantastic. I imagine it will look really good in gorilla mode.

I wasn't particularly impressed with this looking at it on my phone over the weekend. However now that I have seen it on a big screen out of the sun. I really like the fur textured paint application.

Maybe not enough to purchase yet but I'm liking it more.

But then that would give him a hairy belly since the toy doesn't transform like the cartoon...
