This is bent right?

anyone know how to straighten it? i've researched that I can either use a blow dryer until the plastic moves slightly then put it in ice water (whilst massaging it/positioning it to the straightness I want) or Hot water then into ice water or either hot water/blow dryer and put it between 2 heavy books.
My concern is would the plastic crack or change colour?
