Weak plastic - FoC Grimlock

So I pulled a few transformers out of storage to have a bit of play and discovered this problem. When I grabbed grimlock, the plastic tab was already broken off and holding on by barely any plastic. Anyone else had this problem?

He was stored in a bin, was transformed and he was near the top. In damned to figure what caused it

I don't think the plastic itself is weak, I just think it's not a very strong piece to begin with...If you had it in storage mixed up with out bits and pieces I don't think it would take much to snap it off.. i think putting a small amount of weight on it would probably do it and if you have it mixed up with other stuff it could easily catch on something else in the container and be broken off
