Free Transformers Tops Trumps cards with Herald Sun 19/3

Thanks to a tip off at TFW (http://news.tfw2005.com/2016/03/10/transformers-top-trumps-giveaway-victoria-australia-311176), the Newspaper Herald Sun has a Tops Trump offer next week (http://www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/competitions/get-your-top-trumps-game-cards-free-with-the-herald-sun-and-sunday-herald-sun/news-story/9593978dc108d4fc36699514a0903bf6), which you can get a free pack with a token from that day's newspaper, at participating newsagents (in VIC & NSW).
Each day has a different pack on offer, and Saturday March 19th has a Transformers pack that I haven't seen before, so could be new.

Depending on how much the Herald Sun costs, this could be a cheaper way of getting the card game... or really cheap if you already get the Herald Sun every day or on Saturdays.

Yep - they even admit they write it so someone with a grade 6 literacy level can read it. Plus they employ Andrew Bolt :rolleyes::(

I get it for free at work but refuse to read it. However I will bite the billet and buy it tomorrow for the cards :o:p

Don't worry about trying to collect multiple packs guys. The newsagents gave us two this morning and it was the exact same 17 characters in both and packed in even the exact same order. So I'm making the educated guess that every pack everywhere is identical.

Go into a newsagents and ask. Considering every paper that got sold was entitled to get a pack I reckon they sold a lot of papers where people never bothered to ask for the cards. My teachers aide presented me with another pack this morning as she went to the newsagents before work and the bloke knew she worked at a specialist school so just pulled out about 10 various packs and gave them to her to randomly give away.

If you collect 5 of the Bar Codes from the Top Trumps packs you and post them off to get another free pack. However, You have to send a padded A5 envelope with $1.40 of stamps on it inside a larger envelope to them.

I've got 5 barcodes however I already have 3 of the Transformers packs (one for me, one for Orion and one kept unopened). I don't need any more. If I thought I would get a different pack of TF ones I'd do it but I doubt there are any. And as it is by the time you pay for the intial postage, buy the padded A5 bag and pay for the postage on that as well it would have probably been cheaper just to buy another newspaper for the cupon :rolleyes:

My local newsagency is run by an Asian couple & they refused to give any away, stating 1 coupon for 1 Card pack ... they're not a charity. :rolleyes:
