MP11SW is hasbro TF Asia group exclusive and i havent seen them reissue their limited releases. All we can hope is Takara Tomy in general release their own version. Im hoping for MP11 and if possible MP11S reissue :D im not yet losing hope, but i was happy i chose MP13 soundwave before over Starscream which is way too expensive atm. :eek:

TT make a lot of poor decisions, including reissue mp-10 way too late after Ko were out. So I am not surprised but making a limited edition or exclusive into an reissue means all exclusive are NOT exclusive.

i have one still sealed and will remain so. Reason I got it was because of the "Sometimes" anime accurate blue nose cone! I'd kill for a hasbro skywarp (Mp-11). I bit the bullet and got the one from hasbro asia (on first release)...no regrets!

Obviously I am picky and I can tell a quality difference between TT mp-11 and Hasbro. First of the hands do not colour match and the internal joint is grey which actually bugs me a bit.

This is the growing belief (left over stock), as the preorder period is only about a week with a release at the end of the month, so these are already produced... something they don't do. Plus, they would have been listed on HK sites months ago as well, as Hasbro Asia releases the TTM exclusives.

Eva prime goes from $450-650 and to ridiculous $950.

Mp-11t is obtainable at $260

On the note Eva prime is probably the best painted mp-10 in any release including original so far and that's even though I am not interested in one but I felt the effort is there.

Correct, I guarantee you , it's different the reviews lead you to believe they are very close in quality.

This is not the case. The TTis just better. But again I am very picky.

Not saying the TT version is fantastic either but if you have the chance to compare you will see the difference.

Yep I'm a MP completionist but ruled out the might BAPE's too. At least with EVA you are also getting the trailer (unlike the BAPE's) and it is exclusive so will hold/grow in value very well.

yeah i also started with Cars only with Prowl and an overpriced Lambor (110 bucks :eek:) but got greedy admittedly and tried to take all being released starting with Ultra Magnus:eek:

...anyway i got excited with this news especiall with EVA Convoy just to realize its not actually reissue and PC has very limited stocks to boot...wish they could just produce more to lower the price :(

If money is no object then collecting the whole line is easy. Sadly most of us aren't in that position and have to be selective in our purchases.

I'm not bothered by TT making special edition type figures harder to get like store exclusives. But if standard characters appearing in the actual cartoons start getting hard to attain, I'd call it a day.

Skywarp is an example. MP-11 Thundercracker and Ramjet are pushing it.

Todays $A/¥ is 85, this is what would be used if you order it tomorrow. Taking the ¥27,000 price plus ¥5,000 for shipping converts to $376. Then add 3% international transaction fee gives $388. So really the saving is insignificant compared to PC's price of $400. It's more about locking it in because it's clear PC only has a handful of units. Still it might sell out in seconds so we could still miss out.

I was just yesterday shopping for a new credit card (ANZ cut back the points on their rewards program). Given how much I shop internationally, the fee on international credit card transactions was important. After checking the Westpac terms (all the major banks would be the same), the FX rate posted on their website is not the one used to convert the FX on a credit card. Rather its Mastercard, Visa, Amex etc that use the wholesale or interbank rate from the day before to determine the rate. This is good that the bank's own FX rates are not used, because they are a rip-off!!!

You are correct that some cards waive the fee, usually these are the cheap, non-rewards cards.

My God :eek: Mattycollector during those Red screen of death days. What a friggin nightmare. Entire figures selling out in minutes, not hours. And what was worse was being here in Aus - you had to set your alarm for 3:30am, wake up, and have a heart attack trying to buy at the allotted time.

In all fairness the initial release was not as hot. Same like mp-11t I was able to ask if anyone was interested.

They didn't just sell out within 5 minutes, but this is different.
Just keep this as an option when another exclusive such as dirge or something similar if your regular stores are sold out.

Ok... I am still building up my collections.. I am not like those TF professionals who get the whole room or even the whole garage to store so many Transformers models that they can buy and sell them easily.

Also, the reason i buy them is because of the sentimental values in them. It represents more than a toy for me.. That is all.

Everyone has his/her own perspective.. So yours is not necessarily mine and vice versa. I also do not want to argue or discuss in terms of perspective.

Yeh it's a shame that those of us that went for it missed out. Would have looked nice in my masterpiece display. But I always knew it would be a long shot given how desirable that figure is combined with the crazy price it was going for on ebay. Hope those lucky few that are VIP's at PC that manage to secure one are happy with it. Nothing else left to be said on the matter.

Micfox, you were chasing a rare, hard to find item that is much sought after by fellow collectors, casual and hardcore. The market for TF Masterpieces is getting bigger. The TT website practically crashed. That was a sure sign that getting a figure would be tough.

It's disappointing for sure. But don't let this experiece sour your hobby of collecting Masterpieces in general. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I suggest bringing your expectations a little down to Earth. Your chances were slim. At least the TT website had the courtesy of stopping orders when stock ran out. Unlike a certaim TRU sale recently *cough* :D

Absolutely kick ass redeco. Two popular properties with die hard fans.

Glad I got mine for about $340 in December 2014 (from pre-orders in mid 2014?). As I recall, nexusnixx offered a further opportunity later that month (Dec 2014) for some stock at $400 a unit but from the thread it didn't seem as though anyone was interested.

Glad I bought one. Looks incredible on shelf.

I don't collect them only because they will start Eva 02,03 00 colours and you need to carry on what you started.

Your eva at the fair converted my friend that didn't like it. But it was too late for him, at that point the value of the figure was deemed "too high" for him.

I'm a big eva fan and for them to do that is awesome! Means more to me then a bathing ape figure could ever do for me.

I hope they do another eva collab but this time NOT with the convoy mould...maybe mp-09/28 in eva 02 colours?
