Platinum edition Autobot Heroes set

TFW member Sol Fury has posted details of a new box set for the 86 movie featuring a group of 5 slightly redecoed bots in Arcee, Blurr, Kup, Springer and Ultra Magnus. The colors look sharp but wonder how much of this is Hasbros usual impressive promo shots which tend to differ from actual release.

They are supposed to have a shiny metal like paint, similar to the JP Animated toys.

This is a pretty good set of toys and the box looks great.

With all these TFTM sets I reckon there's a good chance of a Platinum Unicron too right.

That set is awesome. If metallic, very tempted with Arcee, Springer (that gold!!!) and maybe Blurr. GDO Kup is already great, and Magnus... Maybe...

Instead of having Minimus Albus I reckon they could have recoloured the figure as Wheelie for this set, maybe with a new head

It was rumored in a podcast that also leaked 95% of the TR toys and liokaiser a full year previous so most likely

I think that it'd be cool if Minimus Ambus were recoloured to look like Ultra Magnus' original core robot (http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/2/26/MP_Magnus_book_cover_art.jpg). :)

Given how big the poster is compared to the box, it wouldn't surprise me if Hasbro packaged it folded with deep creases ruining it:

wow i have to hold off on buying LG Arcee from TRU until they reveal the price for this one.

they should have just included a puzzle that fits nicely in that box instead of poster :D

Based on current rrp (roughly), bare minimum would be $210.00. But all these special sets are always much more than what they are worth. I'm going to hazard a guess to near $300.00.
