The Brazil Toy Fair was also running over the weekend, and we have a writeup and some shots from Transformers Dioramas (part 1 (http://www.transformersdioramas.com.br/2016/04/abrin2016-confira-as-novidades-da.html) and part 2 (http://www.transformersdioramas.com.br/2016/04/abrin2016-confira-as-novidades-da_10.html)).
One of the more interesting reveals is the "Rise of Rodimus Prime" Platinum Edition set, featuring Titanium Rodimus Prime and Universe 2.0 Galvatron:

I don't think I've seen them before but there seems to be a lot of hate already for this on tfw2005 haha. Is this "titanium" rodimus from that all die-cast series a while back? Did they make a black one into Motormaster?

Yeah, I saw that! I'd be inclined to get the set (on closeout, mind) just to see what the hate is all about!

Is this "titanium" rodimus from that all die-cast series a while back?Comparing the pics to my Titanium Rodimus yes, it is. Anyones guess whether or not it will be diecast or not but.
The Galvatron looks like the Universe 2.0 mold.
Is a nice set to to be released with the Autobot heroes one, looks like Hasbro are giving all us G1 movie fans a decent lot of bots to celebrate with

There is actually some really good news there. Hasbro is still producing Cyberbatallion figures, so for those who wanted them there may be some appearing on eBay soon

I think Vangelus said it best on Twitter.
that's a box of sadness and disappointment right there.
I liked the Galvatron Mould but mostly for what it tried to do rather than what it achieved. The Rodimus is a good attempt at making a complete space Winnebago that transforms entirely into a robot but it suffers from the problems of the entire titanium line, large heavy die cast parts with plastic joints that just can't handle the weight.
I would recommend against buying this set unless you are a completionist and already know what you're getting yourself into.

Is Galvatron sporting a cheesy grin?
