Let the games begin
Note: I do not see any official announcement so it may just be a custom job for all I know and not a + mp as speculated.

Afraid not, they're customs: https://www.facebook.com/lekcustom/
It's a really interesting approach though! Looks a lot better than you'd think it would imo.

As noted above, they are customs but they are spectacular customs. some of the Photo sets I've seen, it's hard to tell if they've been drawn into the frame or are a photo.
excellent workmanship.

They were inspired by the last years game "Devastation" I believe.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere you can send your figure to this guy and he can customise it for you and send it back, bit pricey though if I remember correctly.
Its amazing how creative some people are I think they look fantastic!

There is a wonderful sense of irony here in that TakaraTOMY creates MPs in an attempt to realise two dimensional G1 cartoon characters as three dimensional toys, then there are customisers who redeco MPs to make them look like two dimensional cartoon characters. ;) I don't mean to say this in any negative way - far from it - I think it's a massive compliment to TakaraTOMY in seeing that purely by cosmetically changing the colours of MP toys they can end up looking as if they're on a two dimensional hand drawn animation cel. And kudos to the customiser for pulling that off too. :)
