yes it says Tokyo Toy Show exclusive 8500 yen which is on 11th and 12th of June. But just like Silverstreak (not sure with Tigertrack) it will be available thru Takara Tomy Mall after.

it will include a masked head and Road Rage's rifle but did not say who is the figure included.

edit: the masked head could be the prototype images floating around after tracks was released. also it says it is a decepticon as the purple base shows but the chest is still autobot :confused:

yeah even at a later date we can expect PC would get them. Our TakTomMall-Tenso would be very expensive now just for an MP car as i just got email from Tenso increasing EMS by 500yen this May :eek:

IMO making it a limited exclusive honestly makes more sense for TakaraTOMY than a mass retail release, especially considering how badly Road Rage is shelf warming. Black Pedal is an even more obscure than Road Rage. Road Rage is based on one of Tracks' Diaclone colours and was actually released by Hasbro as a variant of Tracks in 1985 in some places, and of course appeared in the 1985 diorama art. Black Pedal, on the other hand, is based on a random black repaint of Tracks... in a time when Takara just had this thing for black repaints. :o

This character didn't have a name until now (tfwiki hasn't made a page for him yet). So while being a limited exclusive does certainly make it difficult* for fans to get the toy, I think that it makes more sense for TakTOM.

the magazine says decepticon as also can be seen on the purple transluscent stand but the figure still has the autobot insignia

I can't make the logo out (so blurry!), but considering that it has purple highlights then it must be a Decepticon, because there's never been a purple Autobot since... ever! We've had pink, but never purple.

The accelerator can be referred to as the "loud pedal" because is makes your car loud. ;)

Waiting for a clearer pic, but with the white breakup, blue face and purple windows this looks to be a well thought out re-paint for visual impact rather than the usual cheap Nemesis "name" repaint.

And the more recent JP Adventure Slag/Slug, which was almost entirely purple too... and the 2013 GO! Sensuimaru.

It is very very very rare though to have a purple Autobot toy, but it has happened.

Its a given, just like green Ratchet. I think thats why we all were shocked when the reissue MP Ironhide (with the drill) was announced.

and Takara define it from their website that the name is not as a car pedal but from a piano pedal :confused::p

I have noticed something with this figure and perhaps it will now reflect a better numbering system for MP's.
This is MP-25L (or so it seems) Road Rage had her own number but was essentially the same mould, I do hope with mould tweaks and colour variations that we stick with letter designations to the same mould number in the future, I'm not too pedantic about the inconsistent numbering system over the last decade but to now (seemingly) make it uniform is a step in the right direction.

Oh wow, they've repainted Blaster in his original Microman colours (http://plaza.harmonix.ne.jp/~ita/8882/takara1.jpg)! That's sweet! :D Not gonna buy this toy just for a sweet accessory though, but still very cool. :cool: It'll be interesting to see if they give this thing a new persona -- if so, that'd open up redeco potential for previous and future Blaster toys. If it were up to me I'd make it a new character. Curious to see what they'll do with that Raoul redeco too. Initially I'd think that they can't make it a new character because his face is the same as Raoul's, and humans have different faces and simply retconning Raoul as conveniently having an evil twin is too cheesy. But on the other hand, the sculpting on this little mould isn't exactly highly detailed and they could get away with retconning it as a different person. Initially I'd think that they can't make it a new character because his face is the same as Raoul's, and humans have different faces and simply retconning Raoul as conveniently having an evil twin is too cheesy. But on the other hand, the sculpting on this little mould isn't exactly highly detailed and they could get away with retconning it as a different person. I'd probably give him a different skin or hair colour to further distinguish him from Raoul.

Evil twin idea sounds like great, yes cheesy, but a classic 80's move. :D

I believe 120aud at ebay seller from Taiwan, their initial listing price was 140aud but dropped probably they have a fair number of stock or checking which price collectors will bite

I got mine yesterday from an Ebay store and opened it up tonight. I haven't transformed him or anything, just a quick glance. I must say it looks stunning in vehicle mode. There is just something about that gloss black, the gold flames and the particular shade of the 'con logo. Love it!
