Oh man!!! Nostalgia overload!

Was in JB tonight, and spotted a dvd cover that looked like something from the childhood.... Ghost Busters!

Stacked with 80's voice actor goodness (Peter Cullen, Susan Blu, skeleton guy who's name I won't type right) and made by Filmation (heman is all over this thing)

Most amazing memory is the way they get into ghost busting costume.... The skeleton elevator that takes them into space and then skeleton machinery moves the "cool guy" and throws the "clumsy guy" around like a rag doll..... Man the wife hates it.... But it had to come home and already watched half a disc

Used to love that show. Theme song was great and directly after the show would end I would run out to backyard grabbing my trusty generic space laser gun and zap zap zap imaginary ghosts and monsters all around the countryside .... Good times

Anyways, great find and I had even realised sir Peter Cullen was part of the cast

I am curious about the original Ghost Busters movie but I can't imagine it's great.

It's coming back to me. The chief bad guy's named Primevil and his Morticia-like minion is named Misteria.
By the way, has anyone noticed the logo looks kind of like the Shmoo?

I had some toys of those. The flying pig guy and maybe the bad rat thing too. I wonder why, I never thought they were particularly cool...

It's kind of like The Gobots cartoon. They came before Transformers but that doesn't make them better.

I remember thinking as a kid "these are not the Ghostbusters". To me the 2 Ghostbuster movies are what I've always thought of when I think of Ghostbusters. I actually have never seen the Ghostbusters cartoon based on the movies.:eek:

I really hope the new movie is good. (insert praying emoji)
