Hey Guys,

So because I only just discovered premium collectibles, I was too late to their preorder party for the Takara Fortress Maximus.

After Krayt (the absolute legend) helped me with acquiring the Hasbro I'm in love with the Cartoon accurate Takara and really want to try and work out the most efficient way of getting him.

Amazon JP won't ship him here and robot kingdom shipping charges are a little scary but may be the only way.
I was also too late with HLJ.

Are the any shops that I've missed?

Does anyone maybe have a PC preorder they're reconsidering or maybe would trade for an SDCC ver if I ordered that one?

Perhaps I'm best to try and split a RK order with a fellow melbournite.

Any insights would be great :)

I've put a pre-order in with Ami Ami, but they can't estimate shipping yet.

But also no money down too i'm just going to leave it there and see what other options present themselves :)
I have a feeling i'll be blindsided with Ami shipping rates but hey atleast its an option.

I've found Amiami's shipping to be reasonable. Although being such a large toy shipping is bound to be expensive.

Thanks for the input Gok :) I've seen some retailers take the piss with shipping prices on other things so it's good to know.

Absolutely he'll be brutal, I guess my benchmark is RK at just under $100USD.

Hoping in more in the area of $100AU :p

Keep in mind you can't cancel preorders with amiami though :P

yes i believe amiami charges a reasonable shipping fee compared to even HLJ (at least for single items) but you cant cancel or you will get penalized or even cancel your membership

I had to sell Grand and Brave last year sadly but I still have my vintage and encore FM :)

Do you have an idea how much HLJ want for shipping?
I think the list price for them was slightly higher than amiami. It will make for an interesting comparison :)


Interesting about ami cancellation though, thought it may be the case and they said modifications could be made so thought I'd take the risk.
